नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले तोकिएको चुक्ता पूँजी कायम गर्न नसकेका लघुवित्त वित्तीय संस्थाहरूलाई कर प्रयोजनबाहेक नगद लाभांश वितरण गर्न नपाउने व्यवस्था गरेको छ। केन्द्रीय बैंकले खराब (निष्क्रिय) कर्जा अनुपात र पूँजीकोष अनुपातका आधारमा लाभांशको सीमा तोकेको हो। खराब कर्जा १५ प्रतिशतभन्दा बढी भएका संस्थाहरूलाई लाभांश वितरणमा पूर्ण रोक लगाइएको छ भने अन्य योग्य संस्थाहरूले ५ देखि अधिकतम २५ प्रतिशतसम्म लाभांश वितरण गर्न सक्नेछन्। यस व्यवस्थाले वित्तीय अनुशासन र जोखिम व्यवस्थापन सुदृढ हुने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।Nepal Rastra Bank has tightened dividend distribution rules for microfinance institutions that fail to meet the required paid-up capital. Dividend limits are now based on non-performing loan (NPL) ratios and post-dividend capital adequacy. Institutions with NPLs above 15 percent are prohibited from distributing dividends, while eligible institutions may distribute dividends ranging from 5 percent up to a maximum of 25 percent. The move aims to strengthen financial discipline, improve risk management, and protect depositors and investors.

चालु आर्थिक वर्षको पहिलो ६ महिनामा नेपालमा प्रत्यक्ष वैदेशिक लगानी प्रतिवद्धतामा उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि भएको छ। उद्योग विभागका अनुसार साउनदेखि पुससम्म ४७५ उद्योगमा ३९ अर्ब २३ करोड रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी लगानी प्रतिवद्धता प्राप्त भएको छ, जुन अघिल्लो वर्षको सोही अवधिको तुलनामा उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि हो। यस अवधिमा सबैभन्दा बढी उद्योग सूचना प्रविधिमूलक क्षेत्रमा रहे पनि रकमको आधारमा कृषिमूलक क्षेत्रले अग्रता लिएको छ। यी लगानीबाट २० हजारभन्दा बढी रोजगारी सिर्जना हुने अनुमान गरिएको छ।Foreign direct investment commitments in Nepal have increased significantly during the first six months of the current fiscal year. According to the Department of Industry, more than NPR 39.23 billion in investment commitments were recorded across 475 industries from mid-July to mid-January, higher than the same period last year. While the information technology sector attracted the highest number of projects, the agriculture sector led in terms of total investment value. These investments are expected to generate over 20,000 employment opportunities.

काठमाडौं । चालु आर्थिक वर्षको पहिलो पाँच महिनामा वाणिज्य बैंकहरूको कुल नाफा झण्डै १५ प्रतिशतले घटेर २५ अर्ब ७२ करोड रुपैयाँमा सीमित भएको छ। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकको तथ्यांकअनुसार गत वर्षको सोही अवधिमा बैंकहरूले ३० अर्ब २४ करोड रुपैयाँ नाफा कमाएका थिए। खराब कर्जा वृद्धि, आर्थिक मन्दी, ऋण मागमा कमी र उच्च सञ्चालन खर्चका कारण बैंकहरूको नाफामा दबाब परेको देखिन्छ। यस अवधिमा ग्लोबल आइएमई, राष्ट्रिय वाणिज्य, सानिमा र सिद्धार्थ बैंकले नाफा वृद्धि गरेका छन् भने अधिकांश बैंकहरूको नाफा घटेको छ। कुल २० बैंकमध्ये १५ बैंकको नाफा घट्दा बैंकिङ क्षेत्रमा असमान प्रदर्शन देखिएको छ। Kathmandu. The overall profit of Nepal’s commercial banks declined by nearly 15 percent in the first five months of the current fiscal year, falling to NPR 25.72 billion. According to Nepal Rastra Bank, banks had earned NPR 30.24 billion during the same period last year. Rising non-performing loans, economic slowdown, weak credit demand, and higher operating costs have negatively impacted profitability. While Global IME Bank, Rastriya Banijya Bank, Sanima Bank, and Siddhartha Bank recorded profit growth, most other banks saw a decline. Out of 20 banks, profits dropped in 15, reflecting uneven performance across the banking sector.

The total amount is allocated to commercial banks, development banks, and finance companies in different categories. The fixed deposits will be held for one year from January 21, 2026, to January 21, 2027. Proposals must be submitted by 7 PM on Magh 2, 2026. Banks and financial institutions must meet several criteria, including maintaining capital requirements, keeping non-performing loans below 8%, and being profitable in the last financial year. The proposal’s interest rate will remain valid until the investment date. This initiative aims to improve liquidity management and increase interest rate competition in the banking system.

नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले २० अर्ब रुपैयाँ बराबरको एक वर्षे ऋणपत्र ‘नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंक ऋणपत्र २०८३ ज’ जारी गरेको छ। यो ऋणपत्रमा क, ख र ग वर्गका बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरूले मात्र आवेदन दिन सक्नेछन्। इच्छुक संस्थाहरूले न्यूनतम पाँच करोड र अधिकतम आह्वान रकमसम्म आवेदन दिन सक्नेछन्। हालका वर्षमा राष्ट्र बैंक ऋणपत्रलाई तरलता व्यवस्थापनको प्रमुख उपकरणको रूपमा प्रयोग गर्दै आएको छ।Nepal Rastra Bank has issued a one-year bond, "Nepal Rastra Bank Bond 2083 Ja," worth NPR 20 billion. काठमाडौं। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले सार्वजनिक गरेको चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को मंसिरसम्मको तथ्यांकअनुसार नेपालको बाह्य क्षेत्र सुदृढ भएको देखिएको छ। विदेशी विनिमय सञ्चिति, चालु खाता, र शोधनान्तर स्थिति सबै सकारात्मक छन्। विदेशी विनिमय सञ्चिति १९.६ प्रतिशत बढेर मंसिरमा ३२ खर्ब १ अर्ब ४७ करोड रुपैयाँ (२२ अर्ब १३ करोड डलर) पुगेको छ, जुन २१.७ महिनाको वस्तु आयात र १८.२ महिनाको वस्तु तथा सेवा आयातलाई धान्न पर्याप्त छ। चालु खाता बचत ३ खर्ब ५८ अर्ब ८३ करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ, अघिल्लो वर्षको सोही अवधिमा यो रकम १ खर्ब ५८ अर्ब ४५ करोड रुपैयाँ थियो। शोधनान्तर स्थिति पनि ४ खर्ब २१ अर्ब ८९ करोड रुपैयाँले बचतमा रहेको छ, जुन अघिल्लो वर्षको २ खर्ब २५ अर्ब ३४ करोड रुपैयाँ भन्दा बढी हो। Kathmandu. Nepal's external sector is showing a positive trend, as per the latest data from Nepal Rastra Bank for the fiscal year 2082/83 up to Mangsir. Foreign exchange reserves, current account, and remittance positions have all improved, highlighting a stronger economic position. Foreign exchange reserves increased by 19.6% from the previous year, reaching NPR 3.21 trillion (USD 22.13 billion) by Mangsir. This growth provides sufficient coverage for 21.7 months of goods imports and 18.2 months of goods and services imports. The current account surplus has reached NPR 358.83 billion, up from NPR 158.45 billion last year. This is attributed to an increase in capital transfers and foreign direct investment. Remittance savings also show a positive trend, reaching NPR 421.89 billion by Mangsir.

नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले सार्वजनिक गरेको प्रतिवेदन अनुसार, चालू आर्थिक वर्षको मंसिर महिनासम्म कूल ८ खर्ब ७० अर्ब ३१ करोड रुपैयाँबराबर विप्रेषण मुलुक भित्रिएको छ। यो विप्रेषण आप्रवाह ३५.६ प्रतिशतले वृद्धि भएको हो। मंसिर महिनामा मात्र १ खर्ब ८३ अर्ब १८ करोड विप्रेषण भित्रिएको छ। अमेरिकी डलरमा विप्रेषण आप्रवाह २९.० प्रतिशतले बढेर ६ अर्ब १६ करोड पुगेको छ। साथै, वैदेशिक रोजगारीका लागि नयाँ र पुनः श्रम स्वीकृति लिने नेपालीको संख्या क्रमशः १ लाख ७५ हजार ५९१ र १ लाख ६३ हजार ९२४ पुगेको छ।According to the report released by Nepal Rastra Bank, a total of NPR 8.7 trillion in remittance has entered the country as of the month of Mangsir in the current fiscal year, showing a 35.6% increase in remittance inflow. In the month of Mangsir alone, NPR 1.83 trillion was received as remittance. The remittance inflow in US dollars increased by 29.0%, reaching USD 616 million. The number of Nepali workers receiving final labor approval and renewal labor approval for foreign employment stood at 175,591 and 163,924, respectively.

बैंकिङ प्रणालीमा अत्यधिक तरलता बढेपछि नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंक ले त्यसलाई व्यवस्थापन गर्न एक वर्षे ऋणपत्र जारी गर्दै दीर्घकालीन तरलता प्रशोचन नीति अपनाएको छ। चालू आर्थिक वर्षको सुरुआती तीन महिनामै राष्ट्र बैंकले विभिन्न मौद्रिक उपकरणमार्फत ठूलो परिमाणमा तरलता खिचिसकेको छ। पुस १४ गते र त्यसपछि जारी गरिएका २५–२५ अर्ब रुपैयाँका ऋणपत्रमा माग अत्यधिक देखिएको छ। राष्ट्र बैंकका अनुसार आर्थिक गतिविधि सुस्त हुँदा बैंकहरूमा लगानीयोग्य रकम थुप्रिएकाले यस्तो कदम चालिएको हो।To manage excess liquidity in the banking system, Nepal Rastra Bank has adopted a long-term liquidity absorption strategy by issuing one-year bonds. In the first three months of the current fiscal year, the central bank absorbed a large volume of liquidity through various monetary tools. The NPR 25 billion bonds issued on multiple occasions saw strong demand from banks and financial institutions. According to the central bank, subdued economic activity has led to surplus investable funds in banks, prompting the move to stabilize liquidity conditions.

जेन–जी आन्दोलनका क्रममा भएका क्षतिका कारण बीमा कम्पनीहरूले हालसम्म बीमितहरूलाई करिब रु. ५ अर्ब ४८ करोड दाबी रकम भुक्तानी गरेका छन्। नेपाल बीमा प्राधिकरणका अनुसार कुल ३,३१६ ओटा निर्जीवन बीमा दाबी परेका थिए, जसको दाबी रकम करिब रु. २३ अर्ब ४७ करोड रहेको छ। भुक्तानीमध्ये सम्पत्ति, मोटर, इञ्जिनीयरिङ, परिवहन तथा अन्य बीमातर्फ अग्रिमसहित रकम वितरण गरिएको छ। साथै, नेपाल पुनर्बीमा कम्पनीले पनि निर्जीवन बीमा कम्पनीहरूलाई करिब रु. ३ अर्ब २ करोड पुनर्बीमा दाबी भुक्तानी गरिसकेको छ।Insurance companies have so far paid around NPR 5.48 billion in claims to policyholders for damages caused during the Gen-Z movement. According to the Nepal Insurance Authority, a total of 3,316 non-life insurance claims worth approximately NPR 23.47 billion were filed. Payments have been made across property, motor, engineering, marine, and other insurance categories, including advance settlements. Additionally, Nepal Reinsurance Company has disbursed about NPR 3.02 billion to non-life insurers toward reinsurance claims.

चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को पहिलो पाँच महिनामा सरकारले ४ खर्ब ९ अर्ब ७८ करोड रुपैयाँ राजश्व संकलन गरेको छ, जुन वार्षिक लक्ष्यको ७८.७४ प्रतिशत मात्र हो। गत वर्षको तुलनामा राजश्व १.६८ प्रतिशतले बढे पनि आयकर भने ८ प्रतिशतले घटेको छ। ब्याजदर घट्नु, घरजग्गा र शेयर बजारको कारोबार सुस्त हुनुका कारण पुँजीगत लाभकरमा कमी आएको अर्थ मन्त्रालयले जनाएको छ। आगामी दिनमा घरजग्गा कारोबार खुल्नु, शेयर बजारमा सुधार र निर्वाचन तथा पुनर्निर्माण खर्चले राजश्व वृद्धि हुने सरकारको विश्वास छ।The Government of Nepal collected NPR 409.78 billion in revenue during the first five months of fiscal year 2082/83, achieving 78.74 percent of its annual target. काठमाडौँ । नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले विदेशी लगानी तथा विदेशी ऋण व्यवस्थापन विनियमावलीको पाँचौं संशोधन गर्दै विदेशी लगानी भित्र्याउन र आर्जित रकम फिर्ता लैजान राष्ट्र बैंकको पूर्वस्वीकृति आवश्यक नपर्ने व्यवस्था गरेको छ। अब विदेशी लगानीकर्ता वाणिज्य बैंकमार्फत सिधै विदेशी मुद्रा सटही गरी लगानी, लाभांश र मुनाफा विदेश पठाउन सक्नेछन्। नयाँ व्यवस्थाले कालोसूचीमा रहेका कम्पनीलाई पनि विदेशी लगानी ल्याउन अनुमति दिएको छ भने विदेशी ऋणसम्बन्धी व्यवस्था थप लचिलो बनाइएको छ। यसले नेपालमा लगानी प्रक्रिया सहज, छरितो र पारदर्शी बनाउँदै विदेशी लगानी आकर्षण बढाउने राष्ट्र बैंकले जनाएको छ। Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has amended the Foreign Investment and Foreign Loan Management Regulation, removing the requirement for prior NRB approval to bring in or repatriate foreign investment. Foreign investors can now directly repatriate investment, profits, and dividends through licensed commercial banks. The new provision also allows blacklisted companies to receive foreign investment and further relaxes rules on foreign loans. NRB stated that the amendment will simplify procedures, improve transparency, and enhance Nepal’s overall investment climate.

नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंक ले उपदान तथा पेन्सन कोषमा रहेको ५ अर्ब ५५ करोड रुपैयाँ बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरूको मुद्दती निक्षेपमा लगानी गर्ने निर्णय गरेको छ। उक्त रकम वाणिज्य बैंक, विकास बैंक र वित्त कम्पनीहरूमा ३६६ दिनका लागि लगानी गरिनेछ, जसका लागि राष्ट्र बैंकले ब्याजदर प्रस्ताव माग गरेको छ।Nepal Rastra Bank has decided to invest NPR 5.55 billion from its Provident and Pension Fund in fixed deposits with banks and financial institutions. The investment will be allocated among commercial banks, development banks, and finance companies for a period of 366 days, with banks invited to submit interest rate proposals.

वित्तीय प्रणालीमा अधिक तरलता कायमै रहेपछि नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले १६ दिनका लागि २५ अर्ब रुपैयाँ निक्षेप संकलन गर्न लागेको छ। अनलाइन बोलकबोलमार्फत गरिने यस प्रक्रियामा ‘क’, ‘ख’ र ‘ग’ वर्गका बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरू मात्र सहभागी हुन पाउनेछन्। बोलकबोलमार्फत निर्धारण हुने ब्याजदरका आधारमा निक्षेप बाँडफाँट गरिनेछ र संकलित रकमको सावाँ तथा ब्याज २०८२ पुष २५ गते भुक्तानी गरिनेछ।Nepal Rastra Bank has announced that it will absorb NPR 25 billion from the banking system for a period of 16 days to manage excess liquidity. The deposit collection will be conducted through an online bidding process, with participation limited to Class A, B, and C banks and financial institutions. The interest rate will be determined through bidding, and the principal along with interest will be repaid on Poush 25, 2082.

अधिक तरलता व्यवस्थापन गर्न राष्ट्र बैंकले आज २० अर्ब रुपैयाँ तान्दै नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले बैंकिङ प्रणालीमा देखिएको अधिक तरलता व्यवस्थापन गर्न आज पुनः २० अर्ब रुपैयाँ बराबरको रकम तान्ने भएको छ। केन्द्रीय बैंकले निक्षेप संकलन उपकरण प्रयोग गर्दै उक्त रकम बैंकिङ प्रणालीबाट बाहिर ल्याउन लागेको हो। राष्ट्र बैंकका अनुसार आज दिउँसो २ बजे निक्षेप संकलनका लागि बोलकबोल प्रक्रिया सञ्चालन गरिनेछ। बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरूले तोकिएको समयभित्र ब्याजदर प्रस्तावसहित बोलकबोलमा सहभागी हुन सक्नेछन्। निक्षेप दिन इच्छुक बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाले न्यूनतम १० करोड रुपैयाँ र अधिकतम आह्वान गरिएको कुल रकमसम्म, ५ करोड रुपैयाँले भाग गर्दा निःशेष भाग जाने गरी बोलकबोल गर्न पाउने व्यवस्था गरिएको छ। यसले बोलकबोल प्रक्रियालाई व्यवस्थित र प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक बनाउने राष्ट्र बैंकको अपेक्षा छ।Nepal Rastra Bank to Absorb Rs 20 Billion to Manage Excess Liquidity Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is set to withdraw Rs 20 billion from the banking system on Sunday as part of its ongoing efforts to manage excess liquidity. The central bank will use its deposit collection instrument to absorb surplus funds currently circulating within the financial system. According to NRB, the bidding process for the deposit collection will take place at 2:00 PM. Commercial banks as well as development and finance companies will be able to participate in the auction by submitting interest rate bids within the specified timeframe.
