राष्ट्र बैंकले एटीएमबाट पैसा झिक्ने सीमामा कडाई गर्‍यो — अब एक पटकमा अधिकतम २० हजार मात्र नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले एटीएमबाट नगद निकासीको सीमा घटाउँदै नयाँ नियम लागू गरेको छ। अबदेखि एटीएमबाट एक पटकमा अधिकतम २० हजार रुपैयाँ मात्र निकाल्न सकिने भएको छ। राष्ट्र बैंकले आज बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरूलाई सर्कुलर जारी गर्दै उक्त व्यवस्था लागू गर्न निर्देशन दिएको हो। नयाँ व्यवस्थाअनुसार एक दिनमा अधिकतम ५० हजार रुपैयाँ र एक महिनामा तीन लाख रुपैयाँसम्म मात्र एटीएमबाट झिक्न पाइनेछ। राष्ट्र बैंकका अनुसार यो निर्णय डिजिटल कारोबारलाई प्रोत्साहन गर्ने उद्देश्यले गरिएको हो। सर्कुलरमा बैंकहरूलाई डेबिट कार्डमार्फत हुने नगद कारोबार घटाउन र डिजिटल भुक्तानी प्रणालीलाई प्रोत्साहन गर्न आग्रह गरिएको छ। यसअघि एक पटकमा २५ हजार, दैनिक एक लाख र मासिक चार लाख रुपैयाँसम्म निकासी गर्न पाइन्थ्यो। अब नयाँ सीमा लागू भएपछि एटीएम प्रयोगकर्ताले सानो रकमकै लागि पनि बढी सावधानी अपनाउनुपर्ने देखिएको छ।NRB Tightens ATM Withdrawal Limits — Maximum NPR 20,000 per Transaction Kathmandu, October 10 — The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has introduced stricter limits on cash withdrawals from ATMs. Under the new rule, customers can now withdraw a maximum of NPR 20,000 per transaction. The circular directs banks to reduce cash-based debit card transactions and to encourage customers to use digital payment systems instead.

According to the new circular, Nepali or foreign nationals, as well as firms, companies, institutions, or branch offices registered in Nepal, can now receive non-repatriable funds such as sales proceeds, commissions, fees, or remuneration from abroad through licensed remittance companies. The company informed the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), and CDS and Clearing Limited (CDSC) that the plant is now operating normally again. According to the company, the 14.9 MW Hewa Khola ‘A’ Hydropower Project, located in Panchthar District, was forced to shut down on the night of Ashwin 18, 2082 (around midnight) after continuous rainfall caused severe flooding in the area. The flood damaged the tailrace section of the plant, leading to an emergency shutdown of operations.
