नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेन्ज (नेप्से) मा सूचीकृत होटल तथा पर्यटन समूहका ७ कम्पनीमध्ये चालु आर्थिक वर्षको दोस्रो त्रैमाससम्म ५ वटा कम्पनी घाटामा रहेका छन्। सोल्टी होटल र कालिञ्चोक दर्शन मात्र नाफामा छन्। सोल्टी होटलले सबैभन्दा बढी नाफा कमाएको छ भने अधिकांश कम्पनीको आम्दानी र नाफामा गिरावट आएको छ। पर्यटन क्षेत्रको सुस्त सुधार र अन्य चुनौतीका कारण होटल समूह दबाबमा रहेको देखिन्छ।Out of seven hotel and tourism companies listed on NEPSE, five have reported losses by the second quarter of the current fiscal year. ई–कमर्स क्षेत्रमा कडा नियमन: दर्ता अनिवार्य, नियम उल्लंघन गर्ने प्लेटफर्म खारेज हुनेStrict Regulation on E-Commerce: Mandatory Registration and Cancellation of Non-Compliant Platforms

सरकारले विद्युतीय व्यापार (ई–कमर्स) क्षेत्रलाई व्यवस्थित बनाउन कडा नियमन लागू गरेको छ। उद्योग, वाणिज्य तथा आपूर्ति मन्त्रालयले जारी गरेको नयाँ निर्देशिकाअनुसार अब सबै ई–कमर्स व्यवसायीले सरकारी पोर्टलमा अनिवार्य रूपमा दर्ता हुनुपर्नेछ। दर्ता नगरी सञ्चालन गरिएको प्लेटफर्मलाई सात दिनभित्र सूचीकृत हुन निर्देशन दिइने र अटेरी गरेमा खारेज गरिने व्यवस्था गरिएको छ। निर्देशिकाले नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकबाट स्वीकृत डिजिटल पेमेन्ट गेटवे मात्र प्रयोग गर्नुपर्ने, नगद कारोबारमा समेत विद्युतीय बीजक जारी गर्नुपर्ने र सात दिनभित्र रकम फिर्ता गर्नुपर्ने प्रावधान राखेको छ। साथै, प्रयोगकर्ताको व्यक्तिगत विवरण एनक्रिप्टेड रूपमा सुरक्षित राख्नुपर्ने तथा डेटा चुहावट भएमा तुरुन्त कारोबार बन्द गरी सार्वजनिक जानकारी दिनुपर्ने व्यवस्था गरिएको छ। यस कदमले ई–कमर्स क्षेत्रमा पारदर्शिता र उपभोक्ता संरक्षण मजबुत हुने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ। The Government of Nepal has introduced strict regulations to manage and regulate the growing e-commerce sector. Under a new directive issued by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, all e-commerce businesses must register on the government portal. Platforms operating without registration will be given seven days to comply, failing which they may be canceled. The directive requires businesses to use only Nepal Rastra Bank-approved digital payment gateways, issue electronic invoices even for cash transactions, and process refunds within seven days. It also mandates encryption of sensitive user data and immediate suspension of services in case of data breaches, with public disclosure required. काठमाडौं । समस्याग्रस्त सहकारी व्यवस्थापन समितिले सहकारी ठगी प्रकरणमा संलग्न करिब १३ हजार ऋणी सदस्यको बैंक खाता, सेयर तथा चल–अचल सम्पत्ति रोक्का गरेको छ। बचतकर्ताको रकम फिर्ता प्रक्रिया तीव्र बनाउन यो कदम चालिएको हो। समितिका अनुसार ७४ हजारभन्दा बढी बचतकर्ताबाट करिब ४४ अर्ब रुपैयाँको दाबी परेको छ। तर हालसम्म करिब ४ अर्ब रुपैयाँ मात्र फिर्ता भएको छ। अधिकांश सहकारीमा कमजोर पुँजी संरचना, कानुनी जटिलता र जनशक्ति अभावका कारण पूर्ण राफसाफ हुन समय लाग्ने देखिएको छ। सम्पत्ति जफत प्रक्रिया सुरु भए पनि सहकारी संकटको समाधान तत्काल सम्भव नदेखिएको समितिको निष्कर्ष छ। Kathmandu — The Problematic Cooperative Management Committee has frozen the bank accounts, shares, and properties of around 13,000 loan defaulters involved in cooperative fraud cases to speed up loan recovery and depositor refunds. More than 74,000 depositors have filed claims worth nearly NPR 44 billion, while only about NPR 4 billion has been refunded so far. Weak financial structures, legal complications, and staff shortages have delayed the settlement process. हिल्टन होटलको पुनर्बीमा व्यवस्थापनसँग जोडिएको विवादले नयाँ मोड लिएको छ। नियामक निकायले यस प्रकरणमा संलग्न चार कम्पनीसँग औपचारिक रूपमा स्पष्टीकरण मागेपछि बीमा क्षेत्र पुनः चर्चामा आएको हो। नेपाल बीमा प्राधिकरण ले ओरियण्टल इन्स्योरेन्स कम्पनी, नेपाल पुनर्बीमा कम्पनी, हिमालयन रि इन्स्योरेन्स कम्पनी र एलियण्ट पुनर्बीमा ब्रोकरलाई लिखित जवाफ पेस गर्न निर्देशनसहित पत्राचार गरेको जनाएको छ। पुनर्बीमा सम्झौता र त्यससँग सम्बन्धित प्रक्रियामा कानुनी तथा प्राविधिक त्रुटि भएको आशंकामा नियामकले छानबिन अघि बढाएको स्रोतको भनाइ छ। यसअघि प्राधिकरणले गठन गरेको छानबिन समितिले गत मंसिरमै सम्बन्धित कम्पनीहरूमाथि कारबाही गर्न सिफारिस गरेको थियो। तर सञ्चालक समितिमा पद रिक्त रहेकाले आवश्यक कोरम नपुग्दा निर्णय प्रक्रिया रोकिएको थियो। त्यसले छानबिनको प्रतिवेदन कार्यान्वयनमा ढिलाइ भएको थियो।Hilton Reinsurance Dispute: Four Companies Asked for Formal Clarification The dispute related to the reinsurance management of the Hilton Hotel has taken a new turn. After the regulatory authority formally sought clarification from four companies involved in the case, the insurance sector has once again come under public scrutiny. Nepal Insurance Authority has sent official letters directing Oriental Insurance Company, Nepal Reinsurance Company, Himalayan Reinsurance Company, and Alient Reinsurance Broker to submit written explanations. According to sources, the regulator has initiated the investigation due to suspected legal and technical irregularities in the reinsurance agreement and related procedures. Earlier, an investigation committee formed by the authority had recommended action against the concerned companies as far back as last Mangsir. However, the decision-making process was delayed due to vacant positions on the board, which prevented the formation of the required quorum. As a result, the implementation of the investigation report was postponed.
