काठमाडौं । चुनावी गतिविधि बढेसँगै नेपालमा स्मार्टफोनको आयात उल्लेखनीय रूपमा वृद्धि भएको छ। चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को साउनदेखि माघसम्म २६ अर्ब ६८ करोड रुपैयाँ बराबरका १४ लाखभन्दा बढी स्मार्टफोन आयात भएका छन्, जसबाट सरकारले ४ अर्ब ९७ करोड रुपैयाँ राजस्व संकलन गरेको छ। आयात अघिल्लो वर्षको तुलनामा ४०.५९ प्रतिशतले बढेको छ। कर र व्यापारी मार्जिनका कारण उपभोक्तासम्म पुग्दा मोबाइलको मूल्य करिब ४० प्रतिशतले बढ्ने गरेको छ। पछिल्लो समय एआई प्रविधियुक्त र आधुनिक मोबाइलको प्रयोग बढेकाले महंगा स्मार्टफोनको माग पनि बढ्दै गएको छ।Kathmandu – Smartphone imports in Nepal have increased significantly along with rising political activities. During the first seven months of fiscal year 2082/83, over 1.4 million smartphones worth Rs. 26.68 billion were imported, generating Rs. 4.97 billion in government revenue. Imports rose by 40.59 percent compared to last year. Due to taxes and profit margins, retail prices increase by around 40 percent. The growing use of AI-supported and advanced devices has also boosted demand for expensive smartphones.

फागुन ११ गते सोमबार नेपाली बजारमा सुन र चाँदीको मूल्य पुनः बढेको छ। नेपाल सुनचाँदी व्यवसायी महासंघका अनुसार सुन प्रतितोला ३ हजार २०० रुपैयाँले बढेर ३ लाख १३ हजार ५०० रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ भने चाँदी १७० रुपैयाँले बढेर ५ हजार ५९५ रुपैयाँमा कारोबार भइरहेको छ। दुबै धातुको मूल्य आइतबारको तुलनामा थप उकालो लागेको हो। Gold and silver prices increased again in the Nepali market on Monday, Falgun 11. According to Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmark gold rose by Rs. 3,200 per tola to reach Rs. 313,500, while silver increased by Rs. 170 per tola and is being traded at Rs. 5,595. Both precious metals continued their upward trend from Sunday.

The company has issued the IPO targeting local residents of the project-affected areas and Nepali citizens working abroad with valid labor permits. The company received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal on Magh 20 to issue 30 percent of its issued capital of NPR 570 million. Accordingly, it is issuing 1.41 million (14 lakh 10 thousand) ordinary shares worth NPR 141 million. In the first phase, 470,000 shares have been allocated for residents of the project-affected areas.

Of the public issue portion, five percent, or 10,000 units, have been reserved for mutual funds. The debenture has a maturity period of seven years and offers investors an annual interest rate of 8 percent. काठमाडौं । अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मुद्रा कोष (आईएमएफ) ले नेपालमा बढ्दो निष्क्रिय कर्जाका कारण वित्तीय क्षेत्रमा जोखिम बढ्दै गएको भन्दै सतर्क रहन आग्रह गरेको छ । बैंकिङ क्षेत्रको निष्क्रिय कर्जा ५.४ प्रतिशत पुगेको र आगामी दिनमा अझै बढ्न सक्ने सम्भावना रहेको आईएमएफले जनाएको छ । गभर्नर Bishwanath Paudel नेतृत्वको Nepal Rastra Bank सँगको छलफलपछि आईएमएफले नियामक प्रणाली सुदृढ गर्न, खराब कर्जा असुली सुधार गर्न र राष्ट्र बैंक ऐन संशोधनमार्फत स्वायत्तता बलियो बनाउन सुझाव दिएको छ । कार्यकारी बोर्डको स्वीकृतिपछि नेपालले करिब ४३.२ मिलियन अमेरिकी डलर सहायता पाउनेछ । राजनीतिक अनिश्चितता र वित्तीय जोखिमले अर्थतन्त्रमा दबाब रहने भएकाले सुधार प्रक्रिया निरन्तर जारी राख्नुपर्नेमा आईएमएफले जोड दिएको छ ।Kathmandu — The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned that rising non-performing loans are increasing risks in Nepal’s financial sector and urged greater vigilance. NPLs have reached 5.4 percent and may rise further, potentially affecting banks’ capital strength. After discussions with Governor Bishwanath Paudel and the Nepal Rastra Bank, the IMF recommended strengthening supervision, improving bad loan recovery, and amending the central bank law to enhance autonomy and governance. Upon Executive Board approval, Nepal is expected to receive USD 43.2 million in financial support. The IMF also cautioned that political uncertainty and financial vulnerabilities remain key risks, emphasizing the need for continued reforms.

नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंक ले बैंकिङ प्रणालीमा अधिक तरलता भएपछि ३० अर्ब रुपैयाँ संकलन गर्न निक्षेप संकलन उपकरण प्रयोग गर्ने भएको छ। आज दिउँसो ३ बजे बोलकबोल हुनेछ, जसमा ‘क’, ‘ख’ र ‘ग’ वर्गका बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थामात्र सहभागी हुन पाउनेछन्। ८७ दिने यो उपकरणको साँवा तथा ब्याज २०८३ जेठ ६ गते भुक्तानी गरिनेछ।Nepal Rastra Bank has decided to withdraw NPR 30 billion from the banking system through a deposit collection instrument due to excess liquidity. Bidding will be held today at 3:00 PM, with participation limited to Class A, B, and C financial institutions. The 87-day instrument will mature on Jestha 6, 2083, when both principal and interest will be paid.

काबु बाहिरको परिस्थितिका कारण प्रभावित जलविद्युत् आयोजनाहरूको व्यवसायिक विद्युत् उत्पादन मिति (आरसीओडी) दुई वर्षले थप गर्ने निर्णय गरिएको छ। नेपाल विद्युत् प्राधिकरणको सञ्चालक समितिको बैठकले भूकम्प, बाढी, पहिरो र कोरोना महामारीका कारण ढिलाइ भएका आयोजनालाई यो सुविधा दिने निर्णय गरेको हो। कार्यकारी निर्देशक हितेन्द्रदेव शाक्यको नेतृत्वमा आएको यस निर्णयले करिब ३ हजार मेगावाट क्षमताका निर्माणाधीन आयोजनालाई राहत दिनेछ। निजी क्षेत्रका ऊर्जा व्यवसायी र स्वतन्त्र ऊर्जा उत्पादकहरुको संस्था (इप्पान)का वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष मोहन डाँगीले यसलाई स्वागतयोग्य र सकारात्मक कदम बताएका छन्।The government has decided to extend the Commercial Operation Date (RCOD) of hydropower projects affected by force majeure conditions by two years. Projects delayed due to natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic will benefit from this decision, with no penalties during the extended period. The move is expected to provide relief to around 3,000 MW of under-construction projects and has been welcomed by private sector energy developers as a positive and timely step for the hydropower industry.

स्थानीय बजारमा आज सुनको मूल्य स्थिर रहँदा चाँदीको मूल्य प्रतितोला १० रुपैयाँले घटेको छ। नेपाल सुनचाँदी व्यवसायी महासङ्घ का अनुसार छापावाल सुनको मूल्य तीन लाख चार हजार ७०० रुपैयाँ र चाँदीको मूल्य पाँच हजार ५० रुपैयाँ कायम भएको छ। अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय बजारको उतारचढावले स्थानीय बजारमा पनि प्रभाव पारिरहेको छ।In the local market, the price of gold remained unchanged today, while silver fell by Rs 10 per tola. Shareholders holding shares until Falgun 16 will be eligible to apply. The company will issue 23.1 lakh units of right shares worth Rs. 23.10 crore, increasing its paid-up capital from Rs. 2.10 Arba to Rs. 2.33 Arba. Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager. UAIL’s share price last closed at Rs. 456.60.
