चालु आर्थिक वर्षको करिब छ महिना बित्न लाग्दा पनि सरकारले पुँजीगत (विकास) बजेटको ११ प्रतिशतसमेत खर्च गर्न सकेको छैन। अर्थ मन्त्रालयका अनुसार पुस २६ गतेसम्म ४ खर्बभन्दा बढीको विनियोजित बजेटमध्ये ४३ अर्ब ६० करोड रुपैयाँ मात्र खर्च भएको छ। जेन–जी आन्दोलनका कारण करिब डेढ महिना प्रशासनिक संयन्त्र प्रभावित हुँदा बजेट कार्यान्वयन कमजोर बनेको मन्त्रालयको भनाइ छ। उता, निर्माण व्यवसायीहरूले हचुवाका भरमा छनोट गरिएका प्रतिउत्पादक आयोजनाले विकास निर्माण अवरुद्ध भएको बताउँदै दोषी पक्षको जिम्मेवारी निर्धारण गरेर समस्या समाधान गर्नुपर्ने माग गरेका छन्।Despite nearly six months into the current fiscal year, Nepal has spent less than 11 percent of its capital (development) budget.
