जेन–जी आन्दोलनले होटल क्षेत्रमा २५ अर्बभन्दा बढीको क्षति काठमाडौं । जेन–जी आन्दोलनको क्रममा देशभर झन्डै दुई दर्जन होटलमा ठूलो क्षति पुगेको होटल संघ नेपाल (हान) ले जनाएको छ। संघका अनुसार प्रारम्भिक अनुमानअनुसार २५ अर्ब रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी नोक्सानी भएको छ। काठमाडौं उपत्यका, पोखरा, बुटवल, भैरहवा, झापा, विराटनगर, धनगढी, महोत्तरी, दाङलगायतका क्षेत्रमा सञ्चालित स्वदेशी र विदेशी ब्रान्डका होटलहरू प्रत्यक्ष प्रभावित भएका छन्। हानका प्रारम्भिक तथ्यांकअनुसार, काठमाडौंस्थित हिल्टन होटलमा मात्र करिब ८ अर्ब रुपैयाँभन्दा बढीको क्षति भएको छ। देशभरका क्षतिहरू जोड्दा करिब २५ अर्ब रुपैयाँ बराबर पुग्ने अनुमान गरिएको हो। संघले प्रभावित होटलहरूको मर्मत र पुनर्निर्माण नगरी सञ्चालनमा ल्याउन नसकिने भएकाले करिब २ हजारभन्दा बढी कामदार र कर्मचारीको रोजगारी प्रत्यक्ष प्रभावित भएको जनाएको छ। चाडपर्व नजिकिँदै गर्दा रोजिरोटी गुम्न पुगेको भन्दै हानले होटलहरूले बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थासँगको ऋण र आर्थिक दायित्व पूरा गर्न कठिनाइ हुने चेतावनी दिएको छ। हानले जारी गरेको विज्ञप्तिमा भनिएको छ, “नवयुवाहरूले सुशासन, विकास र मूलभूत परिवर्तनका लागि गरेका बलिदानबीच होटल क्षेत्रमा भएको यो ठूलो क्षतिको छानबिन तत्काल न्यायिक समितिमार्फत हुनुपर्छ।” संघले दोषीलाई दण्ड र क्षतिपूर्ति सुनिश्चित गर्न, प्रभावित होटलहरूको पुनर्निर्माणका लागि विशेष आर्थिक प्याकेजको माग गरेको छ।Gen-Z Protests Cause Over NPR 25 Billion Losses in Hotel Sector Kathmandu – The Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) has reported that nearly two dozen hotels across the country suffered massive damages during the recent Gen-Z protests. According to preliminary estimates, the total loss exceeds NPR 25 billion. Prominent domestic and international brand hotels operating in Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara, Butwal, Bhairahawa, Jhapa, Biratnagar, Dhangadhi, Mahottari, Dang, and other regions were directly affected. HAN stated that Hilton Hotel in Kathmandu alone suffered damages worth over NPR 8 billion, and when combined with other affected properties nationwide, the losses are estimated to cross NPR 25 billion.

नेप्से बजार अर्को साता पनि बन्द हुने नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेञ्ज लिमिटेड नेप्सेले धितोपत्र कारोबार बन्द हुने जानकारी गराएको छ। नेप्सेले २०८२ साल भदौ २७ गते जारी गरेको सूचनामा भनिएको छ कि धितोपत्रसम्बन्धी ऐन, २०६३ को दफा ९ को उपदफा ९१० खण्ड ९घ० अनुसार २०८२र०४र२६ मा नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्डबाट स्वीकृति प्राप्त भए अनुसार २०८२र०५र२६ गते बसेको मन्त्रिपरिषद्को निर्णयअनुसार धितोपत्रको दोस्रो बजार कारोबार बन्द रहने व्यवस्था गरिएको हो। यस निर्णयअनुसार, धितोपत्रको कारोबार अर्को सूचना नआएसम्म स्थगित हुनेछ। लगानीकर्ताहरूलाई यसबारे सूचित गरिएको नेप्सेका प्रवक्ता मुकरुङ पराजुलीले जानकारी दिएका छन्।NEPSE Market to Remain Closed Next Week as Well Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has officially announced that securities trading will remain closed. According to the notice issued on Bhadra 27, 2082, NEPSE stated that in line with Section 9, Sub-section (1), Clause (gha) of the Securities Act, 2063, and based on the approval obtained from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on 2082/04/26, the Cabinet meeting held on 2082/05/26 decided to suspend secondary market transactions. As per this decision, securities trading will remain halted until further notice. NEPSE spokesperson Mukrung Parajuli informed investors regarding the closure.

Following demonstrations organized by the “Gen Z” group, the movement turned violent, leading to massive arson at Singha Durbar, the Supreme Court, and the Federal Parliament building. The Prime Minister and Council of Ministers’ Office inside Singha Durbar was completely destroyed by fire. Similarly, the Supreme Court at Ramshah Path and the Federal Parliament building at New Baneshwor were also gutted. Protesters further set fire to the Office of the Attorney General and the Traffic Police Office. Political leaders’ residences were also attacked. The homes of CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda,” and former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal were vandalized and torched. UML leaders Gokul Baskota, Mahesh Basnet, and Mahesh Bartuala also reported arson and damage to their residences.

भाटभटेनी नक्सालमा लुटपाट र आगजनी जेन–जी आन्दोलनका क्रममा राजधानीको नक्सालस्थित भाटभटेनी सुपर स्टोरमा प्रदर्शनकारीहरूले लुटपाट गरेर आगजनी गरेका छन्। भाटभटेनी चेनको पहिलो स्टोर मानिने यस शाखामा प्रदर्शनकारीहरूले सामान लुटपाट गरेपछि आगो लगाइदिएको भाटभटेनीका प्रमुख सञ्चालन अधिकृत (सीओओ) पानु पौडेलले बताएका छन्। उनले भने, “प्रदर्शनकारीले स्टोरबाट सामान लुटेपछि आगो लगाइदिएका छन्। क्षतिबारे यकिन भएको छैन, तर पूरै स्टोरमा आगो लगाइएको छ।” नक्सालस्थित यो स्टोर व्यवसायी मीनबहादुर गुरुङले २०४३ सालमा स्थापना गरेका थिए। यसअघि राजावादी आन्दोलनका क्रममा कोटेश्वर भाटभटेनीमा पनि यस्तै किसिमको लुटपाट भएको थियो। आगजनी नियन्त्रणका लागि प्रहरी र दमकल परिचालन गरिएको छ भने ठूलो क्षतिको अनुमान गरिएको छ। घटनाले देशकै खुद्रा व्यापार क्षेत्रमा ठूलो आघात पुगेको बताइएको छ।Looting and Arson at Bhatbhateni Naxal Amid the ongoing Gen-Z protests, demonstrators looted and set fire to the Bhatbhateni Super Store in Naxal, Kathmandu. This outlet, known as the first Bhatbhateni store, was targeted after protestors looted goods and then torched the premises, according to Bhatbhateni’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Panu Paudel. “The protestors looted goods from the store and then set it on fire. The extent of the damage is not yet confirmed, but the entire store has been engulfed,” he stated.

जेन–जी आन्दोलनको प्रभाव : मंगलबार बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्था बन्द रहने देशभर जेन–जी आन्दोलन चर्किएसँगै मंगलबार बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्था बन्द रहने भएका छन्। सोमबारको प्रदर्शनमा राज्यले दमन गरेपछि आक्रोश बढेपछि सुरक्षालाई मध्यनजर गर्दै बैंकहरू बन्द गर्न लागिएको हो। प्रशासनले काठमाडौं उपत्यकाको चक्रपथभित्र निषेधाज्ञा जारी गरेको छ भने देशका विभिन्न सहरमा समेत कर्फ्यु लगाइएको छ। यस्तो अवस्थामा नेपाल बैंकर्स संघले मंगलबार बैंकका शाखा नखोल्ने निर्णय गरेको हो। नेपाल बैंकर्स संघका अध्यक्ष सन्तोष कोइरालाले बताएअनुसार निषेधाज्ञा जारी भएका क्षेत्रमा मात्र नभई अन्य स्थानका बैंक शाखा पनि बन्द रहनेछन्। बैंकरहरूले आन्दोलनको जोखिमका कारण बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थामा तोडफोड र आगजनीको खतरा रहेको निष्कर्ष निकालेका छन्। सोमबारको प्रदर्शनमा राज्यद्वारा गरिएको हिंसात्मक कदमका कारण १९ जनाको मृत्यु भएको थियो भने सयौं युवा घाइते भएका थिए। मंगलबारको सम्भावित जोखिमलाई मध्यनजर गर्दै देशका विभिन्न स्थानमा कर्फ्यु आदेश जारी गरिएको छ।Banks and Financial Institutions to Remain Closed on Tuesday Amid Gen Z Protests Kathmandu – Banks and financial institutions across the country will remain closed on Tuesday as the Gen Z movement intensifies. १ दर्जन निर्माण कम्पनी कालोसूचीमा सरकारले समयमै काम सम्पन्न नगरेका कारण १ दर्जन निर्माण कम्पनीलाई कालोसूचीमा राख्ने निर्णय गरेको छ। प्रधानमन्त्री तथा मन्त्रिपरिषद् कार्यालयअन्तर्गतको सार्वजनिक खरिद अनुगमन कार्यालयले भदौ २३ गते गरेको निर्णयअनुसार यी कम्पनीलाई कालोसूचीमा राखिएको हो। विभिन्न निकायबाट प्राप्त सिफारिसका आधारमा यी कम्पनीहरूलाई कालोसूचीमा राखिएको सार्वजनिक खरिद अनुगमन कार्यालयले जनाएको छ। कालोसूचीमा परेका निर्माण कम्पनीहरूले आज (भदौ २४) देखि लागू हुने गरी १ वर्षदेखि ३ वर्षसम्म कुनै पनि सार्वजनिक निकायको खरिद प्रक्रियामा सहभागी हुन नपाउने व्यवस्था गरिएको छ।12 Construction Companies Blacklisted by Government The government has decided to blacklist 12 construction companies for failing to complete their projects on time.
