माई खोला हाइड्रोपावरको १ः१ अनुपातमा हकप्रद शेयर बिक्री प्रस्ताव माई खोला हाइड्रोपावर लिमिटेडले आफ्ना शेयरधनीहरूलाई १ः१ अनुपातमा हकप्रद शेयर जारी गर्ने प्रक्रिया सुरु गरेको छ। यसअनुसार कम्पनीले हाल कायम रहेका शेयरधनीहरूलाई बराबरी अनुपातमा थप शेयर वितरण गर्न तयारी थालेको हो। कम्पनीले कुल ३९ लाख २१ हजार ५६८ कित्ता हकप्रद शेयर बिक्री गर्नका लागि नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्ड (सेबोन)सँग अनुमति मागेको बिक्री प्रबन्धक प्रभु क्यापिटलले जानकारी दिएको छ। हकप्रद बिक्री सम्पन्न भएपछि माई खोला हाइड्रोपावरको चुक्ता पुँजी ७८ करोड ४३ लाख ३ हजार ६०० रुपियाँ पुग्नेछ। यसले कम्पनीको वित्तीय आधार बलियो बनाउने र आगामी परियोजनाहरूका लागि पूँजी जुटाउने विश्वास गरिएको छ। हाल कम्पनीले नियामक अनुमति प्राप्त गर्न आवश्यक प्रक्रिया अगाडि बढाइरहेको छ। अनुमति प्राप्त भएपछि हकप्रद शेयर निष्काशनको मिति र आवेदन प्रक्रिया सार्वजनिक गरिनेछ।Mai Khola Hydropower to Issue Rights Shares in 1:1 Ratio Mai Khola Hydropower Limited has announced plans to issue rights shares in a 1:1 ratio to its existing shareholders. This means shareholders will be eligible to receive one additional share for every share they currently hold. The company has formally submitted an application to the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) seeking approval to issue a total of 3,921,568 rights shares, according to the issue manager, Prabhu Capital. Upon successful issuance of the rights shares, the company’s paid-up capital will increase to NPR 784.3 million. The move is expected to strengthen the company’s capital base and support its future project expansions. Mai Khola Hydropower is currently awaiting regulatory approval. Once SEBON grants the approval, the company will announce the detailed issuance schedule and application procedures.

The opposition accused the involvement of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak in a large-scale human trafficking operation carried out through an organized setting within the Immigration Department. The opposition demanded the immediate resignation of the Home Minister and called for the formation of a high-level independent investigation commission. The session, originally called to unveil the Economic Survey for the fiscal year 2081/82, could not proceed as planned due to the uproar. Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire attempted to continue the session, but the ongoing chants and protests from opposition lawmakers forced the house to adjourn. Despite a temporary suspension for 30 minutes, no political consensus was reached, and the session was ultimately postponed. The Parliament Secretariat issued an official notice announcing that the next House session is now scheduled for Wednesday, May 28 (Jestha 14), at 11:00 AM. However, doubts remain over whether that session will proceed smoothly, as the opposition remains firm on their demand for the Home Minister’s resignation before allowing any parliamentary business to move forward. If consensus is not reached in time, the government may be forced to release the Economic Survey outside the parliament. Constitutionally, the national budget for the fiscal year 2082/83 must be presented in Parliament on Jestha 15 .
