To move forward with the process, the company has signed a roadmap agreement with NIMB S Capital Limited. The agreement was signed by Binod Paudel, Managing Director of Hotel Garima, and Sachindra Dhungana, Deputy CEO of NIMB S Capital. As per the agreement, NIMB S Capital will act as a corporate advisor to Hotel Garima Limited, providing necessary guidance and assistance throughout the IPO issuance process. With this agreement, Hotel Garima has formally initiated the process to go public, and the IPO will be opened to the public after completing the required regulatory procedures.

नेपालमा सेयर धितो कर्जा १० महिनामा ३९.३ प्रतिशतले वृद्धि भई १ खर्ब २५ अर्ब ५२ करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ । यो वृद्धि मुख्यतः ठूला ऋणीहरूले ल्याएका हुन् । १ करोड रुपैयाँभन्दा माथिको कर्जा ५३.३ प्रतिशतले, ५० लाखदेखि १ करोड सम्मको २१.१ प्रतिशतले, र २५ लाखदेखि ५० लाख सम्मको कर्जा १५.३ प्रतिशतले बढेको छ । यसले ठूला लगानीकर्ताहरूको सेयर धितो कर्जाप्रति निर्भरता बढ्दो रहेको संकेत गर्दछ ।Margin loans against shares in Nepal have increased significantly, rising 39.3% in just 10 months, reaching Rs. 125.52 billion by the end of Baisakh. The growth is largely driven by big borrowers, with loans above Rs. 1 crore jumping 53.3%. Loans between Rs. 50 lakh to 1 crore rose by 21.1%, and loans between Rs. 25 to 50 lakh increased by 15.3%. This indicates a growing reliance on share-backed loans, especially among large investors.

The subcommittee is coordinated by Dr. Rewat Bahadur Karki, former Chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and a former NRB Director. Other members include Bhuvan Dahal, former CEO of Sanima Bank and past President of the Nepal Bankers’ Association, and Guru Paudel, Executive Director of NRB, who will serve as the member secretary.

The government had already decided to implement the recommendations of this report. On Poush 5, 2081 (December 20, 2024), a cabinet meeting of the Government of Nepal approved the implementation of the report prepared by a study committee led by former Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Chintamani Siwakoti. Following this, the government forwarded the report to the Ministry of Finance with instructions to initiate the implementation process, and the Ministry assigned the responsibility to the Nepal Securities Board. On Tuesday, the Board released the report, which recommends issuing a license for a new stock exchange. Additionally, it highlights the need to restructure the existing Nepal Stock Exchange. The report also provides various legal and operational suggestions. This decision is expected to bring greater stability and diversity to Nepal’s investors and the securities market.

बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरूको कर्जा प्रवाह ७.३ प्रतिशतले वृद्धि चालू आर्थिक वर्षको १० महिनामा बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरूले ३ खर्ब ६८ अर्ब ६८ करोड रुपैयाँ कर्जा प्रवाह गरेका छन्, जुन ७.३ प्रतिशतको वृद्धि हो। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकका अनुसार, वैशाख महिनाको अन्त्यसम्म कर्जा प्रवाहमा यो वृद्धि देखिएको हो। गत वर्षको सोही अवधिमा बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरूले २ खर्ब २५ अर्ब २४ करोड रुपैयाँ मात्रै कर्जा प्रवाह गरेका थिए। चालू आवमा कर्जा प्रवाह थोरैले बढेको देखिएको हो। राष्ट्र बैंकले चालू आवमा कर्जा प्रवाहमा १२.५ प्रतिशतको वृद्धि हुने प्रक्षेपण गरेको छ, जुन वैशाखसम्म ७.३ प्रतिशत देखिएको छ।Loan Disbursement by Banks and Financial Institutions Increases by 7.3% In the first 10 months of the current fiscal year, banks and financial institutions have disbursed loans amounting to NPR 368.68 billion, showing a 7.3% increase. In the same period last year, the inflation for these groups was 6.41% and 3.09%, respectively. In Baishakh, within the food and beverages group, the annual point-to-point inflation for ghee and oils was 11.08%, fruits were 6.15%, lentils and pulses were 5.17%, and non-alcoholic beverages saw a 4.70% increase. However, the annual point-to-point inflation for vegetables was 8.11%, spices increased by 2.20%, and fish and meat decreased by 0.48%.

The Public Debt Management Office has scheduled the auction for a 9-year bond from 10 AM to 3 PM. In this auction, the bank or financial institution offering the lowest interest rate will be prioritized in the allocation of development bonds. The government has consistently used development bonds as a major tool for raising domestic debt. Previously, on March 13, the bonds were issued at an interest rate of 4.49%. In recent issues, the average interest rate has been around 4.72%. As the fiscal year comes to a close, the government has resumed the issuance of development bonds, which will play a significant role in its domestic debt management.
