पुस २२ गते मंगलबार नेपाली बजारमा सुन र चाँदीको मूल्य निरन्तर बढेको छ। आज सुन प्रतितोला ३,१०० रुपैयाँले बढेर २ लाख ६८ हजार १०० रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ भने चाँदी १९५ रुपैयाँले बढेर ४ हजार ८८० रुपैयाँमा कारोबार भएको छ। पछिल्ला दुई दिनदेखि बहुमूल्य धातुको मूल्य लगातार उकालो लागिरहेको छ, नेपाल सुनचाँदी व्यवसायी महासंघ ले जनाएको छ।Gold and silver prices continued to rise in the Nepali market on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेन्ज (नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेन्ज) ले लाभांश प्रयोजनका लागि बुक क्लोज गरेका तीन कम्पनीको शेयर मूल्य समायोजन गरेको छ। एनएलजी इन्स्योरेन्स कम्पनी को ४ प्रतिशत बोनस शेयरका लागि मूल्य ६९८ रुपैयाँबाट घटेर ६७१.१५ रुपैयाँ कायम भएको छ। त्यस्तै, नेशनल लघुवित्त वित्तीय संस्था को १४.२५ प्रतिशत बोनस शेयरका लागि मूल्य १,३०५ रुपैयाँबाट १,१४२.२३ रुपैयाँमा समायोजन गरिएको छ। विन्ध्यवासिनी हाइड्रोपावर डेभलपमेन्ट कम्पनी को ५ प्रतिशत बोनस शेयरका लागि मूल्य ४७७.९० रुपैयाँबाट ४५५.१४ रुपैयाँ निर्धारण गरिएको छ। अब यी कम्पनीहरूको कारोबार समायोजित मूल्यबाट सुरु हुनेछ। ________________________________________ The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepal Stock Exchange) adjusted the share prices of three listed companies on Monday following their book closure for dividend distribution. The companies include NLG Insurance Company, National Microfinance Financial Institution, and Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company. NLG Insurance’s price was adjusted for a 4 percent bonus share, reducing the last traded price of NPR 698 to a new adjusted price of NPR 671.15 per share. Similarly, National Microfinance, which is set to distribute a 14.25 percent bonus share, saw its price adjusted from NPR 1,305 to NPR 1,142.23. Bindhyabasini Hydropower’s price was adjusted for a 5 percent bonus share, bringing the last traded price of NPR 477.90 down to NPR 455.14. Trading in the secondary market for all three companies will resume from these adjusted prices. Only investors holding shares until the last trading day before book closure will be eligible for the proposed bonus shares. While the adjustment increases the number of shares and lowers the price, it does not immediately change the total investment value; however, subsequent market fluctuations will determine gains or losses.

The company is issuing 3.1 million shares, of which 1.55 million shares are allocated to locals and 155,000 shares to overseas Nepalis. Applications can be submitted for a minimum of 10 shares and a maximum of 100,000 shares. The company operates the 26 MW Upper Khudi Hydropower Project, and the issue manager is Global IME Capital Limited.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index gained 28.73 points to close at 2,639.37, while total turnover increased to over NPR 6.47 billion. All 13 sectoral indices closed higher, and shares of six companies hit the positive circuit.

पुस २० गते, आइतबार नेपाली बजारमा सुन र चाँदी दुवैको मूल्य घटेको छ। आज सुन प्रतितोला २ हजार १०० रुपैयाँले घटेर २ लाख ६० हजार ४०० रुपैयाँमा कारोबार भएको छ भने चाँदी प्रतितोला २५ रुपैयाँले घटेर ४ हजार ५०० रुपैयाँमा कारोबार भइरहेको छ। नेपाल सुनचाँदी व्यवसायी महासंघका अनुसार मूल्यमा आएको उतारचढाव अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय बजारको प्रभाव हो।On Sunday, January 4, 2026, both gold and silver prices declined in the Nepali market. Gold dropped by Rs 2,100 per tola to Rs 260,400, while silver fell by Rs 25 per tola to Rs 4,500. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Federation, the price movement reflects trends in the international market.

The company’s Seventh Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on Poush 1, approved a proposal to issue 60 percent right shares based on the existing paid-up capital of NPR 505 million. In line with the AGM decision, Bhugarbha Cement has issued right shares to its promoter shareholders with a 35-day subscription period. Following the rights issue, the company’s paid-up capital will increase to NPR 808 million. According to Chairman Nandikeshar Poudyal, the company plans to further issue 20 percent ordinary shares to the general public after the completion of the rights offering. “Once the public issue is completed, the company’s paid-up capital will reach close to NPR 1 billion,” he stated.

The IPO is part of the bank’s plan to raise capital from the public to strengthen its financial base. The system came into force on Friday, according to the Department of Customs. The nationwide implementation was formally launched during a Customs Management Seminar held in Kathmandu, where Rameshwar Khanal virtually inaugurated the system in the remaining 18 customs offices. With this move, the new valuation mechanism has now become mandatory at all customs points across the country. Following Finance Minister Khanal’s appointment, the Department of Customs had initiated the system on a pilot basis at the Biratnagar Customs Office. It was later expanded to Birgunj Customs, the country’s largest customs point in terms of revenue collection. The full-scale rollout now completes the transition to a unified valuation framework nationwide.

The AGM approved a proposal to distribute a 20 percent cash dividend (including tax) from the distributable profit of the previous fiscal year. मौद्रिक सहजताले आर्थिक गतिविधि विस्तार, आर्थिक वृद्धि औसतभन्दा माथि रहने अनुमान काठमाडौं । नेपाल राष्ट्र बैङ्कले अवलम्बन गरेको मौद्रिक सहजताका कारण आर्थिक गतिविधि विस्तार हुँदै गएको र यसबाट चालु तथा आगामी अवधिमा आर्थिक वृद्धि औसतभन्दा बढी हुने देखिएको छ। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैङ्कको आर्थिक अनुसन्धान विभागले तयार गरेको आर्थिक गतिविधि अध्ययन (एकीकृत) वार्षिक प्रतिवेदन (आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/८२) अनुसार यस्तो निष्कर्ष निकालिएको हो। प्रतिवेदनमा विश्वव्यापी रूपमा इन्धन तथा खाद्य वस्तुको मूल्यमा आएको गिरावट, कर्जा तथा निक्षेपको ब्याजदर घट्दो क्रममा रहनु, जलविद्युत् उत्पादनमा उल्लेख्य वृद्धि, बाह्य पर्यटक आगमन बढ्नु तथा निर्यात र रेमिट्यान्स आप्रवाहमा सुधार आएको कारण आर्थिक वृद्धि औसतभन्दा माथि रहने उल्लेख गरिएको छ। चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ मा मुद्रास्फीतिको चाप न्यून रहने तथा समीक्षा अवधिमा आर्थिक क्रियाकलाप अघिल्लो वर्षको तुलनामा थप सकारात्मक हुने अनुमान गरिएको छ।Economic Growth Expected to Exceed Average Due to Monetary Easing: NRB Report Kathmandu — Nepal’s economic growth is expected to remain above average as a result of monetary easing measures adopted by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), according to the Integrated Annual Economic Activity Study Report (FY 2024/25 – 2081/82) prepared by the central bank’s Economic Research Department. The report states that the decline in global fuel and food prices, falling interest rates on loans and deposits, significant growth in hydropower production, increased tourist arrivals, and growth in exports and remittance inflows have collectively supported stronger economic expansion. It also notes that inflationary pressure is expected to remain low in the current fiscal year 2025/26 (FY 2082/83), while overall economic activities are projected to be more positive compared to the previous year.

झापा इनर्जी : पाँच महिनामा चार करोड ७० लाखभन्दा बढीको विद्युत् बिक्री झापा । सौर्य ऊर्जा उत्पादक कम्पनी झापा इनर्जी लिमिटेडले चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को साउनदेखि मङ्सिर मसान्तसम्मको पाँच महिनाको अवधिमा रु चार करोड ७० लाख ९३ हजार ४९७ मूल्यबराबरको विद्युत् नेपाल विद्युत् प्राधिकरणलाई बिक्री गरेको छ। कम्पनीका सञ्चालक समिति अध्यक्ष लालबहादुर साँवा लिम्बूका अनुसार उक्त अवधिमा झापा इनर्जीले ६५ लाख २१ हजार २६० युनिट विद्युत् उत्पादन गरेको हो। शिवसताक्षी नगरपालिका–४, बुलुचोकमा अवस्थित १० मेगावाट क्षमताको सौर्य विद्युत् परियोजनाबाट उत्पादन भएको विद्युत् प्राधिकरणले प्रतियुनिट ७ रुपैयाँ ३० पैसाका दरले खरिद गर्दै आएको छ।Jhapa Energy Sells Electricity Worth Over NPR 47 Million in Five Months Jhapa, Nepal — Solar power producer Jhapa Energy Limited has sold electricity worth NPR 47.09 million to the Nepal Electricity Authority within the first five months of the current fiscal year 2025/26 (FY 2082/83). According to Chairman of the Board, Lalbahadur Sawa Limbu, the company generated 6.52 million units of electricity between mid-July (Shrawan) and mid-December (Mangsir). The electricity produced by the company is being purchased by the Nepal Electricity Authority at a fixed rate of NPR 7.30 per unit. Jhapa Energy operates a 10-megawatt solar power project located at Shivasatakshi Municipality–4, Buluchowk in Jhapa district. The project began commercial electricity generation on Magh 10, 2080 (January 2024). Prior to this, a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) between Jhapa Energy and the Nepal Electricity Authority was signed on Mangsir 12, 2078 (November 2021).

बैंकिङ प्रणालीमा अत्यधिक तरलता बढेपछि नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंक ले त्यसलाई व्यवस्थापन गर्न एक वर्षे ऋणपत्र जारी गर्दै दीर्घकालीन तरलता प्रशोचन नीति अपनाएको छ। चालू आर्थिक वर्षको सुरुआती तीन महिनामै राष्ट्र बैंकले विभिन्न मौद्रिक उपकरणमार्फत ठूलो परिमाणमा तरलता खिचिसकेको छ। पुस १४ गते र त्यसपछि जारी गरिएका २५–२५ अर्ब रुपैयाँका ऋणपत्रमा माग अत्यधिक देखिएको छ। राष्ट्र बैंकका अनुसार आर्थिक गतिविधि सुस्त हुँदा बैंकहरूमा लगानीयोग्य रकम थुप्रिएकाले यस्तो कदम चालिएको हो।To manage excess liquidity in the banking system, Nepal Rastra Bank has adopted a long-term liquidity absorption strategy by issuing one-year bonds. In the first three months of the current fiscal year, the central bank absorbed a large volume of liquidity through various monetary tools. The NPR 25 billion bonds issued on multiple occasions saw strong demand from banks and financial institutions. According to the central bank, subdued economic activity has led to surplus investable funds in banks, prompting the move to stabilize liquidity conditions.

जेन–जी आन्दोलनका क्रममा भएका क्षतिका कारण बीमा कम्पनीहरूले हालसम्म बीमितहरूलाई करिब रु. ५ अर्ब ४८ करोड दाबी रकम भुक्तानी गरेका छन्। नेपाल बीमा प्राधिकरणका अनुसार कुल ३,३१६ ओटा निर्जीवन बीमा दाबी परेका थिए, जसको दाबी रकम करिब रु. २३ अर्ब ४७ करोड रहेको छ। भुक्तानीमध्ये सम्पत्ति, मोटर, इञ्जिनीयरिङ, परिवहन तथा अन्य बीमातर्फ अग्रिमसहित रकम वितरण गरिएको छ। साथै, नेपाल पुनर्बीमा कम्पनीले पनि निर्जीवन बीमा कम्पनीहरूलाई करिब रु. ३ अर्ब २ करोड पुनर्बीमा दाबी भुक्तानी गरिसकेको छ।Insurance companies have so far paid around NPR 5.48 billion in claims to policyholders for damages caused during the Gen-Z movement. According to the Nepal Insurance Authority, a total of 3,316 non-life insurance claims worth approximately NPR 23.47 billion were filed. Payments have been made across property, motor, engineering, marine, and other insurance categories, including advance settlements. Additionally, Nepal Reinsurance Company has disbursed about NPR 3.02 billion to non-life insurers toward reinsurance claims.

पुस १८ गते नेपाली बजारमा सुन र चाँदीको मूल्यमा उल्लेख्य वृद्धि भएको छ। सुन प्रतितोला २ हजार ९०० रुपैयाँले बढेर २ लाख ६२ हजार ५०० रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ भने चाँदी प्रतितोला ११० रुपैयाँले बढेर ४ हजार ५२५ रुपैयाँमा कारोबार भएको छ। नेपाल सुनचाँदी व्यवसायी महासंघका अनुसार अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय बजारको प्रभावले मूल्य बढेको हो।Gold and silver prices rose sharply in the Nepali market on January 2, 2026. Gold increased by NPR 2,900 per tola to NPR 262,500, while silver climbed by NPR 110 per tola to NPR 4,525. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the increase is mainly influenced by global market trends.
