The financial statements published by the companies show a sharp rise in net profit compared to the same period last year. Bottlers Nepal Balaju: Profit Quadruples Bottlers Nepal Balaju recorded a net profit of Rs. 32 crore 16 lakh in the first quarter. In the same period last fiscal year, the company had earned only Rs. 8 crore 43 lakh, indicating a massive growth in profitability. The surge in profit is largely attributed to a substantial increase in sales revenue, which rose from Rs. 3 billion last year to Rs. 3 billion 69 crore this year. The company’s annual Earnings Per Share (EPS) has also jumped sharply to Rs. 608, compared to Rs. 158 previously. Its net worth per share stands at Rs. 3,350, and the company’s share price closed at Rs. 16,000 per share on Thursday.

According to the company’s financial report, the net profit for the period stands at Rs. 30 crore, compared to Rs. 52 crore 69 lakh in the same quarter last fiscal year. The sharp decline in profit is primarily due to a drop in sales and operating income. The company’s revenue, which was Rs. 2.25 billion in the first quarter of last year, has contracted to Rs. 2 billion in the current review period. Meanwhile, the company’s total expenses have slightly increased. Total expenses rose from Rs. 1.63 billion last year to Rs. 1.66 billion this year, largely driven by the rising cost of raw materials.

नागरिक लगानी कोषको पहिलो त्रैमासमा ४.४३% नाफा वृद्धि, लगानीमा उल्लेख्य विस्तार नागरिक लगानी कोष (CIT) ले चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को पहिलो त्रैमास (साउन–असोज) मा ३१ करोड ४३ लाख रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा आर्जन गर्न सफल भएको छ। अघिल्लो वर्षको सोही अवधिको तुलनामा कोषको नाफा ४.४३ प्रतिशतले वृद्धि भएको हो। गत वर्षको यसै अवधिमा CIT को नाफा ३० करोड ९ लाख रुपैयाँ थियो। यद्यपि नाफामा वृद्धि भए पनि ब्याज आम्दानी भने घटेको छ। समीक्षा अवधिमा कोषको ब्याज आम्दानी १८.८७% ले घटेर ९ करोड ७२ लाख रुपैयाँ मा झरेको छ। बैंक ब्याजदर घटेपछि कोषले मुद्दति निक्षेप तथा अन्य ब्याज आम्दानीबाट प्राप्त हुने रकममा कमी आएको जनाएको छ। तर, सेवा शुल्क तथा कमिशनबाट भएको आम्दानीमा उल्लेख्य वृद्धि देखिएको छ। चालु वर्षको असोज महिनासम्म कोषले ४२ करोड ७४ लाख रुपैयाँ सेवा शुल्क र कमिशन आम्दानी गरेको छ, जसले नाफा वृद्धिमा सहयोग पुर्‍याएको छ।Citizen Investment Trust Posts 4.43% Profit Growth in First Quarter, Investment Portfolio Expands Significantly The Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) has reported a net profit of Rs. 31 crore 43 lakh in the first quarter (Shrawan–Ashoj) of the current fiscal year 2082/83. Compared to the same period last year, the Trust’s profit has increased by 4.43%. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, CIT had earned Rs. 30 crore 9 lakh in profit. Despite the rise in profit, the Trust’s interest income has declined sharply. During the review period, interest income dropped by 18.87% to Rs. 9 crore 72 lakh, mainly due to the decline in bank interest rates. The reduction in deposit rates significantly affected CIT’s income from fixed deposits and other interest-bearing investments. However, the Trust saw a strong rise in service charges and commission earnings. By the end of Ashoj, CIT generated Rs. 42 crore 74 lakh from service fees and commissions, which contributed positively to overall profit growth.

शिवश्री हाइड्रोपावरको बाँकी हकप्रद सेयरको बोलकबोल आज समाप्त हुँदै काठमाडौं । शिवश्री हाइड्रोपावर लिमिटेड (Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited) ले आफ्नो बाँकी हकप्रद सेयर (Unclaimed Rights Shares) को बोलकबोल आज मङ्सिर २७ गते (२०७८ कार्तिक २७ गते) समाप्त गर्दैछ। बोलकबोल प्रक्रिया कार्तिक २० गतेदेखि सुरु भएको थियो। कम्पनीले यसअघि १ः१ अनुपातमा हकप्रद सेयर जारी गरेको थियो। कुल १,४७,६४,००० कित्ता सेयर मध्ये १,३८,९८,१५५ कित्ता (९४.१४%) सेयर मात्र योग्य सेयरधनीहरूले आवेदन दिएर प्राप्त गरेका थिए भने ८,६५,८४५ कित्ता (५.८६%) सेयर योग्य लगानीकर्ताबाट नखपत भएको कारण आज बोलकबोलमार्फत सर्वसाधारणलाई बिक्री भइरहेको छ।Shiva Shree Hydropower Concludes Auction of Unclaimed Rights Shares Today Kathmandu — Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited (SSHL) is closing the auction of 865,845 units of unclaimed rights shares today, 27th Kartik, 2082. The central bank will conduct the auction today at 2 PM via the online bidding system for a tenure of 175 days. According to the latest NRB data, total deposits in the banking system have reached Rs. 7.514 trillion. Despite continuously falling interest rates, credit disbursement remains sluggish, leaving the banking system with excess liquidity. To manage this situation, NRB has repeatedly been using deposit collection tools to mop up surplus funds.
