The Foreign Exchange Management Department of NRB issued a new circular today, revising the existing provision under the Integrated Circular 2081. Previously, the limit was NPR 2 million per day. According to the new circular, Nepali or foreign nationals, as well as firms, companies, institutions, or branch offices registered in Nepal, can now receive non-repatriable funds such as sales proceeds, commissions, fees, or remuneration from abroad through licensed remittance companies. The funds must be directly deposited into the beneficiary’s account in Nepal.

एभरेष्ट बैंकको लाभांश सुरक्षित गर्ने अन्तिम दिन आज काठमाडौं — एभरेष्ट बैंक लिमिटेडले गत आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/८२ को मुनाफाबाट प्रस्ताव गरेको लाभांश पाउनका लागि आज (असोज २३ गते) अन्तिम दिन रहेको छ। बैंकले लाभांश वितरण र साधारण सभा प्रयोजनका लागि असोज २४ गते (भोलि) बुक क्लोज गर्ने भएकाले आजसम्म नेप्सेमा कारोबार भई नाम दर्ता भएका शेयरधनीहरू मात्र लाभांश प्राप्त गर्न योग्य हुनेछन्। बैंकले चालु आर्थिक वर्षको सञ्चित मुनाफाबाट ६ प्रतिशत बोनस शेयर र १४ प्रतिशत नगद लाभांश (बोनसमा लाग्ने करसहित) गरी कुल २० प्रतिशत लाभांश प्रस्ताव गरेको छ। यो प्रस्तावित लाभांश आगामी साधारण सभाबाट स्वीकृत भएपछि शेयरधनीहरूलाई वितरण गरिनेछ।Everest Bank’s Dividend Record Date: Today Is the Last Day to Secure Eligibility Kathmandu — Today (October 9) is the last trading day for investors to be eligible for Everest Bank Limited’s proposed dividend from the fiscal year 2081/82.
