नेपाल विद्युत् प्राधिकरणले आगामी बर्खायाम (असार–साउन) मा करिब ५०० मेगावाट अतिरिक्त बिजुली भारतीय बजारमा बिक्री गर्न अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय बोलपत्र आह्वान गरेको छ। प्राधिकरणका अनुसार, नदीनालामा पानीको बहाव बढ्दा जलविद्युत् आयोजनाहरु पूर्ण क्षमतामा सञ्चालन हुने भएकाले स्वदेशी माग पूरा भएपछि बाँकी बिजुली निर्यात गर्न सकिनेछ। बोलपत्र पेश गर्ने म्याद आगामी चैत मसान्तसम्म राखिएको छ।Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has invited international bids to sell about 500 MW of surplus electricity during the upcoming monsoon season (Asar–Shrawan) to the Indian market. The authority stated that hydropower plants will operate at full capacity during this period, allowing the export of excess electricity after domestic demand is met. The deadline for bid submission is the end of Chaitra.

काठमाडौं। चालु आर्थिक वर्षको आठ महिनामा सरकारले सेयर बजारबाट करिब साढे ६ अर्ब रुपैयाँ पुँजीगत लाभकर संकलन गरेको छ। साउनमा उच्च संकलन भएको भए पनि पछिल्ला महिनामा कर संकलन घटेको छ। फागुनमा मात्र ५५ करोड रुपैयाँ संकलन भएको छ। संकलनको ठूलो हिस्सा अल्पकालीन व्यक्तिगत लगानीकर्ताबाट आएको छ भने दीर्घकालीन र संस्थागत सहभागिता कमजोर देखिएको छ। बजारको उतारचढावले कर संकलनमा प्रत्यक्ष असर पारिरहेको छ।Kathmandu: The government has collected over NPR 644.1 million in capital gains tax from the stock market during the first eight months of the current fiscal year. While there are some recovery challenges in Nepal Airlines Corporation, management is underway under government guarantee.

The war has already driven up food and fuel prices and could push an additional 45 million people into hunger if it continues and oil prices exceed $100 per barrel. The WFP highlighted that vulnerable populations will be most affected. Relief operations are already under strain due to rising fuel and transportation costs, reduced international aid, and disrupted supply chains. Countries far from the conflict, such as Somalia, Kenya, Sudan, and Afghanistan, are also experiencing worsening food insecurity, with millions unable to receive adequate aid. The WFP has appealed for an additional $77 million to support emergency food assistance over the next three months.

काठमाडौं । नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंक ले बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरूका लागि निर्देशित कर्जाको सीमा ४० प्रतिशतबाट घटाएर ३० प्रतिशत कायम गरेको छ। कृषि क्षेत्रमा कर्जा प्रवाहको सीमा १५ प्रतिशतबाट घटाएर १० प्रतिशत बनाइएको छ भने ऊर्जा, पर्यटन, सूचना प्रविधि, एमएसएमई र स्वदेशी कच्चा पदार्थमा आधारित उद्योगमा कुल २० प्रतिशत कर्जा प्रवाह गर्नुपर्ने व्यवस्था गरिएको छ। विकास बैंक र फाइनान्स कम्पनीका लागि क्रमशः २० प्रतिशत र १५ प्रतिशत सीमा तोकिएको छ।SMEs, and domestic raw material-based industries. सार्वजनिक ऋण २८ खर्ब ७८ अर्ब नाघ्यो, जीडीपीको ४७ प्रतिशत पुगेको दायित्व काठमाडौं — चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को फागुन मसान्तसम्म नेपालको कुल सार्वजनिक ऋण दायित्व २८ खर्ब ७८ अर्ब २९ करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ। यो रकम कुल गार्हस्थ्य उत्पादन (जीडीपी) को ४७.१३ प्रतिशत बराबर रहेको सार्वजनिक ऋण व्यवस्थापन कार्यालयले जनाएको छ। कार्यालयको मासिक प्रतिवेदनअनुसार आर्थिक वर्षको सुरुवातमा साउन १ गतेसम्म कुल सार्वजनिक ऋण २६ खर्ब ७४ अर्ब ४ करोड रुपैयाँ रहेकोमा आठ महिनाको अवधिमा २ खर्ब ४ अर्ब २४ करोड रुपैयाँ थपिएको हो। यस अवधिमा वैदेशिक ऋणको हिस्सा बढी देखिएको छ। फागुन मसान्तसम्म वैदेशिक ऋण १५ खर्ब ३० अर्ब १८ करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ भने आन्तरिक ऋण १३ खर्ब ४८ अर्ब ११ करोड रुपैयाँ रहेको छ। यस आधारमा कुल ऋणमा वैदेशिक ऋणको हिस्सा ५३.१६ प्रतिशत र आन्तरिक ऋण ४६.८४ प्रतिशत रहेको छ।Public Debt Reaches Rs 28.78 Trillion, Accounts for 47% of GDP Kathmandu — Nepal’s total outstanding public debt has climbed to Rs 2.878 trillion by the end of Falgun in the current fiscal year 2082/83, equivalent to 47.13 percent of the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), according to the Public Debt Management Office. The IPO witnessed overwhelming demand from investors, reflecting strong interest in hydropower sector stocks. In total, 2,766,510 applicants had applied for the offering. By the final day of the issue, applications worth Rs 3.07 billion had been received for 30.73 million shares, indicating a significant oversubscription compared to the number of shares available for the public.

साताको दोस्रो कारोबार दिन नेप्से परिसूचक २६.०७ अंक घटेर २७९८.८३ विन्दुमा झरेको छ। सेन्सेटिभ, फ्लोट र सेन्सेटिभ फ्लोट इन्डेक्स पनि घटेका छन्। ३४५ स्टकमा ३ करोड ७ लाख ९० हजार कित्ता शेयर ११.९७ अर्ब रुपैयाँबराबर कारोबार भएको छ। चार स्टक—सालपा विकास बैंक, रिलायन्स स्पिनिङ्ग मिल्स, अप्पर हेवाखोला र सोलु हाइड्रोपावर—सकारात्मक सर्किटमा रहेका छन्। आँखु खोला जलविद्युत कम्पनी ६८ करोड ७७ लाख रुपैयाँको कारोबारसँगै शीर्ष स्थानमा रह्यो। १३ उपसमूहमध्ये १२ उपसमूहको परिसूचक घटेको छ, उत्पादन तथा प्रशोधन उपसमूह मात्र बढेको छ।On the second trading day of the week, the NEPSE index fell by 26.07 points to 2,798.83. The Sensitive, Float, and Sensitive Float indices also declined. A total of 3.079 million shares worth NPR 11.97 billion were traded across 345 stocks. Four stocks—Salpa Bikash Bank, Reliance Spinning Mills, Upper Hewakhola, and Solu Hydropower—traded at the positive circuit. Aankhu Khola Hydropower Company led the turnover with NPR 687.7 million. Among 13 sub-sectors, 12 saw declines, while only the Production and Processing sub-sector increased.
