चुनावी प्रचारमा झण्डा प्रयोग सीमित गर्ने निर्वाचन आयोगको प्रस्ताव निर्वाचन आयोगले चुनावी प्रचारप्रसारका क्रममा झण्डाको अत्यधिक प्रयोग रोक्ने उद्देश्यसहित नयाँ व्यवस्था प्रस्ताव गरेको छ। आगामी फागुन २१ गते हुने प्रतिनिधिसभा सदस्य निर्वाचनलाई लक्षित गरी तयार पारिएको प्रस्तावित आचारसंहितामा प्रचार सामग्रीको प्रयोगलाई कडाइका साथ सीमित गर्ने प्रावधान समेटिएको हो। आयोगले प्रस्तावित आचारसंहितामा राजनीतिक दल वा उम्मेदवारले आयोजना गर्ने आमसभा, जुलुस, कोणसभा वा घरदैलो कार्यक्रममा अधिकतम १० वटा मात्र झण्डा प्रयोग गर्न पाउने व्यवस्था गरेको छ। आवश्यकताभन्दा बढी झण्डा प्रयोग भई दुरुपयोग हुने प्रवृत्ति बढेकाले त्यसलाई नियन्त्रण गर्न यस्तो प्रबन्ध प्रस्ताव गरिएको आयोगको भनाइ छ।Election Commission Proposes Strict Limits on Campaign Flags to Curb Excessive The Election Commission has proposed new restrictions on the use of flags and campaign materials during election campaigns, aiming to prevent excessive and disorderly प्रचार activities. Under the proposed rules, political parties and candidates will be allowed to use a maximum of 10 flags during campaign activities such as mass meetings, rallies, corner meetings, and door-to-door outreach programs. The commission stated that the provision is intended to discourage the misuse and overdisplay of party flags, which has become increasingly common during elections.
