धातु–जैविक ढाँचा विकास गर्ने तीन वैज्ञानिकलाई २०२५ को रसायनशास्त्रमा नोबेल पुरस्कार सन् २०२५ को रसायनशास्त्रतर्फको नोबेल पुरस्कार जापानका सुसुमु किटागावा, अष्ट्रेलियाका रिचर्ड रोबसन र अमेरिकी ओमार एम. याघीलाई प्रदान गरिएको छ। तीन वैज्ञानिकलाई सन् १९८९ मा धातु–जैविक ढाँचा (Metal–Organic Frameworks – MOFs) को विकासमा गरेको अद्वितीय अनुसन्धानका लागि यो प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार दिइएको हो। बुधबार स्वीडेनको राजधानी स्टकहोममा रोयल स्विडिस एकेडेमी अफ साइन्सेजका महासचिव हान्स एलेग्रेनले तीनै विजेताको नाम घोषणा गरेका हुन्। नोबेल समितिका अनुसार ती तीनै वैज्ञानिकले ग्याँस र अन्य रसायनहरू बग्न सक्ने ठूला स्थानसहितका आणविक संरचना (porous molecular structures) सिर्जना गरेका थिए, जसको प्रयोगले विज्ञान र वातावरण संरक्षणमा नयाँ सम्भावना देखाएको छ।Three Scientists Win 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for Metal–Organic Frameworks The 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry has been awarded jointly to Susumu Kitagawa, Richard Robson, and Omar M. Yaghi for their pioneering research in developing metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) — a revolutionary class of materials that can trap gases, capture water, and catalyze chemical reactions. The announcement was made on Wednesday by Hans Ellegren, Secretary General of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, in Stockholm. The Academy said the three laureates’ groundbreaking discovery in 1989 created “molecular structures with large internal spaces that allow gases and other chemicals to flow through,” enabling wide-ranging applications in energy, environment, and chemistry.
