नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकको पछिल्लो तथ्यांकअनुसार, बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरुको कुल निक्षेप बढेर साढे ६४ खर्ब रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ। According to the latest data from Nepal Rastra Bank, the total deposits of banks and financial institutions have reached NPR 6.45 trillion.
अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मुद्रा कोष (आईएमएफ) का अनुसार गत वर्ष अधोगतिमा गएको नेपालको आर्थिक अवस्थामा केही सुधार आउन थालेको छ। आईएमएफले बुधबार जारी गरेको प्रेस विज्ञप्तिअनुसार मौद्रिक नीतिले लिएको सावधान उदार नीति, सरकारले बजेटमार्फत पुँजीगत खर्च बढाउन देखाएको चासो, जलविद्युत्को बढदो उत्पादन तथा पर्यटक आगमनमा देखिएको सकारात्मकताले गर्दा आउँदो वर्ष सकारात्मक हुने सम्भावना देखिएको हो।According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Nepal's economic condition, which had deteriorated last year, has shown signs of improvement. In a press release issued on Wednesday, the IMF noted that the cautious accommodative monetary policy, the government's interest in increasing capital expenditure through the budget, the growing production of hydropower, and the positive trend in tourist arrivals suggest a positive outlook for the coming year.
सरकारले सम्पत्ति शुद्धीकरण निवारणसम्बन्धी नयाँ रणनीति कार्यान्वयनमा ल्याएको छ। प्रधानमन्त्री तथा मन्त्रिपरिषद्को कार्यालयले ‘सम्पत्ति शुद्धीकरण तथा आतङ्ककारी कार्यमा वित्तीय लगानी निवारण सम्बन्धी राष्ट्रिय रणनीति तथा कार्ययोजना (२०८१/०८२–२०८५/०८६)’ लाई कार्यान्वयनमा ल्याएको जानकारी दिएको हो।The government has implemented a new strategy to prevent money laundering. नेपालको विदेशी विनिमय सञ्चिति (विदेशी मुद्रा) करिब २० खर्ब नजिक पुगेको छ। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंक आर्थिक अनुसन्धान विभागले बुधबार प्रकाशित गरेको चालु आर्थिक वर्ष (आव) २०८०/८१ को जेठसम्मको आर्थिक तथा वित्तीय अवस्थाको प्रतिवेदनले उक्त तथ्यांक देखाएको हो। Nepal's foreign exchange reserves have reached close to NPR 20 trillion, showcasing a significant increase over the past year. This milestone was highlighted in the latest report released by the Economic Research Department of Nepal Rastra Bank on the current fiscal year's economic and financial status as of Jestha 2081.
आर्थिक वर्ष ८०÷८१ को प्रस्तावित बजेट १७५१ अर्ब भए तापनि संशोधन गरी यस वर्ष १५३० अर्बमा घटाइएको छ । यसै सन्दर्भमा, आर्थिक वर्ष ८१÷८२ मा १८६० अर्बको प्रस्तावित बजेट संसदबाट पास भए तापनि कार्यान्वयनमा चुनौती देखिन्छ । जसमा वैदेशिक अनुदान ८०÷८१ मा ५० अर्ब प्रस्तावित भए तापनि यस वर्ष जेष्ठसम्म ३ अर्ब मात्र प्राप्त हुनु दुःखको कुरा हो । हामीले विदेशसँग आर्जन गर्न नसकेको विश्वसनीयता र अरू स्रोतहरू समेत अनुमान गरिएको तुलनामा उठ्न नसक्नु आफैँमा गम्भीर विषय हो । मुलुकको राजस्व आशातीत परिचालित हुन नसक्नु, पुँजीगत खर्च गर्न नसक्नु, स्वदेश र विदेशबाट ऋण प्रस्तावित कार्यान्वयन हुन नसक्नु तथा साँवा र ब्याज राष्ट्रले तिर्ने ऋणको भार बढ्दै जानु यो परिस्थितिमा अबको समृद्धिको यात्रामा चुनौतीका विषय हुन् । आज हामी मुलुकको अर्थतन्त्र र विकासका विषयमा चर्चा गर्नेछौँ । नेपालको विद्यमान संविधानमा उल्लेखित समाजवाद उन्मुख राज्यव्यवस्था मूलतः लोककल्याणकारी चरित्रको उदार, खुला र प्रतिस्पर्धी हो । तर, संविधानमा जे व्यावस्था भए पनि कार्यान्वयमा समस्या भने देखिन्छ । यसै विषयमा हामिले विकास प्रयासमा देखिएका चुनौतीहरूको विश्लेषण गरेका छौ ।।The proposed budget for the fiscal year 80/81 was NPR 1751 billion, but it was revised down to NPR 1530 billion. It is concerning that, despite a proposed foreign grant of NPR 50 billion for the fiscal year 80/81, only NPR 3 billion was received by the end of Jestha.
यही असार २४ गते मध्यरातदेखि सबै सरकारी खाता एक हप्ताका लागि बन्द हुने भएको छ। महालेखा नियन्त्रक कार्यालय (मलेनिका)का प्रवक्ता ओमप्रसाद रिजालले जानकारी दिएअनुसार, आर्थिक कार्यविधि तथा वित्तीय उत्तरदायित्व नियमावली, २०७७ को नियम ३० को व्यवस्थाअनुसार संघ, प्रदेश तथा स्थानीय तहका सबै खाता बन्द गरिनेछ। 1. All government accounts will be closed for one week starting midnight on Asar 24. 2. This closure is in accordance with Rule 30 of the Financial Procedures and Financial Accountability Regulations, 2077. 3. The Office of the Comptroller General (OCG) spokesperson, Om Prasad Rijal, provided this information. 4. The Local Treasury Management Information System (SuTRA), Treasury Single Account (TSA), and Computerized Government Accounting System (CGAS) will be closed. 5. Accounts of federal, provincial, and local levels will be closed for one week. 6. The payment obligations for the current fiscal year 2080/81 must be settled by Asar 24. 7. According to the Appropriation Act, except for titles specified as 'non-freezable', no other payments can be made. 8. Essential expenses can be paid with the consent of the OCG.
