नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्डमा जलविद्युत् प्रवर्द्धकहरूबाट आईपीओ अनुमति दिन कमिसन मागिएको आरोपपछि अख्तियार दुरुपयोग अनुसन्धान आयोगले बुधबार छापा मारेको छ। आयोगको टोलीले पाँच महिनायता आईपीओ अनुमति लिएका र प्रक्रियामा रहेका कम्पनीका कागजात नियन्त्रणमा लिएको छ। इप्पानले बोर्डले ५–७ प्रतिशत कमिसन बिचौलियामार्फत मागेको भन्दै विरोध जनाउँदै आएको छ। अध्यक्ष सन्तोष श्रेष्ठले भने आरोप प्रमाणविना लगाइएको भन्दै अस्वीकार गरेका छन्। संसद्मा समेत यो विषय उठेपछि सांसदहरूले गम्भीर छानबिनको माग गरेका छन्। बोर्डले ८९ कम्पनीको ५६ अर्ब बराबरको आईपीओ रोक्दा जलविद्युत् कम्पनीहरूले २४ अर्बभन्दा बढी लगानी उठाउन नसकेको इप्पानको गुनासो छ। आयोगले प्रारम्भिक कैफियत देखिएकाले थप अनुसन्धान गरिने जनाएको छ। अब यो विवादले पूँजी बजारको पारदर्शिता र नियामक निकायको विश्वसनीयतामाथि गम्भीर प्रश्न उठाएको छ।After allegations that the Nepal Securities Board (SEBON) demanded commissions from hydropower promoters for IPO approvals, the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) raided SEBON's office on Wednesday. The CIAA team seized documents related to companies that had received or applied for IPO approval in the past five months. The Independent Power Producers' Association (IPPAN) accused SEBON of seeking 5–7% commissions through middlemen. However, SEBON Chairman Santosh Narayan Shrestha denied the allegations, calling them baseless. The issue was also raised in Parliament, with lawmakers demanding a thorough investigation. IPPAN claims over NPR 24 billion in public investment is stalled due to IPO delays, with 89 companies awaiting approval. CIAA stated that preliminary irregularities were found and further investigation is ongoing. This controversy has now raised serious concerns about transparency and credibility in Nepal’s capital market regulation.

केन्द्रीय बैंकद्वारा ३५ अर्बको निक्षेप संकलन उपकरण जारी काठमाडौं, नेपाल – नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले वित्तीय प्रणालीको अधिक तरलता व्यवस्थापन गर्न आज फेरि २१ दिनका लागि ३५ अर्ब रुपैयाँको निक्षेप संकलन उपकरण जारी गरेको छ। यसअघि बैंकहरुले गत वैशाख ३ गते राखेको ३० अर्ब परिपक्क भएपछि केन्द्रीय बैंकले थप ३५ अर्ब रुपैयाँलाई वित्तीय प्रणालीबाट प्रशोचन गर्ने निर्णय गरेको हो। बैंकहरुले यस अवसरमा आज दिउँसो ३ बजेसम्म बोलकबोलमार्फत आवेदन दिन सक्नेछन्। यस निक्षेप संकलन उपकरणको ब्याजदर भने बोलकबोलमार्फत निर्धारण हुनेछ, र यसको ब्याज भुक्तानी मिति जेठ १४ गते तय गरिएको छ। इच्छुक बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाले न्यूनतम १० करोड र अधिकतम ५ करोडसम्मको रकम माग गर्न सक्नेछन्।Central Bank Issues NPR 35 Billion Deposit Collection Instrument Kathmandu, Nepal – The Nepal Rastra Bank has once again issued a NPR 35 billion deposit collection instrument for 21 days to manage the excessive liquidity in the financial system. This comes after the previous NPR 30 billion deposit collection tool issued on 3rd of Baisakh, which has now matured. The central bank is now withdrawing an additional NPR 35 billion from the financial system. Interested banks and financial institutions can submit their applications for this instrument by 3:00 PM today. The interest rate for this instrument will be determined through bidding, and the interest payment date is set for the 14th of Jestha. The minimum amount that can be requested is NPR 10 crore, and the maximum amount is capped at NPR 5 crore.
