सरकारले सार्वजनिक खरिद प्रक्रियालाई पारदर्शी, प्रतिस्पर्धी र प्रविधिमैत्री बनाउन सार्वजनिक खरिद ऐन, २०६३ संशोधन गर्ने भएको छ। नयाँ व्यवस्थाअनुसार अब सबै ठेक्कापट्टामा ई–बिडिङ अनिवार्य हुने र कागजी टेन्डर प्रणाली पूर्ण रूपमा हटाइनेछ। सबै बोलपत्रहरू ई–जीपी पोर्टलमार्फत मात्र पेश गर्नुपर्नेछ। यसले अनियमितता, मिलेमतो र बिचौलियाको प्रभाव घटाउने तथा सबै व्यवसायीलाई समान अवसर दिने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।The government is set to amend the Public Procurement Act, 2063 to make the procurement process more transparent, competitive, and technology-based. Under the new provision, e-bidding will be mandatory for all contracts, ending the paper-based tender system. All bids must be submitted through the e-GP portal only. नेपाल आयल निगमले डिजेल, मट्टितेल र आन्तरिक हवाई इन्धनको मूल्य वृद्धि गरेको छ। बिहीबार मध्यरातिदेखि लागू हुने गरी डिजेल र मट्टितेलमा प्रतिलिटर ३० रुपैयाँ र हवाई इन्धनमा ५ रुपैयाँले वृद्धि गरिएको हो। नयाँ मूल्य अनुसार काठमाडौं उपत्यकामा डिजेल प्रतिलिटर २३७ रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ भने आन्तरिक हवाई इन्धन २५६ रुपैयाँ कायम भएको छ। पेट्रोलको मूल्य भने यथावत् राखिएको छ। निगमका अनुसार डिजेलमा अझै पनि ठूलो घाटा कायम छ।The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of diesel, kerosene, and domestic aviation fuel. Effective from midnight Thursday, diesel and kerosene prices have been raised by Rs. 30 per litre, while aviation fuel has increased by Rs. 5 per litre. Following the revision, diesel now costs Rs. 237 per litre in the Kathmandu Valley, and domestic aviation fuel is priced at Rs. 256 per litre. Petrol prices remain unchanged, and NOC said diesel is still being sold at a significant loss.

राष्ट्रिय तथ्याङ्क कार्यालयले आजदेखि देशभर ‘राष्ट्रिय आर्थिक गणना’ को स्थलगत तथ्याङ्क सङ्कलन सुरु गरेको छ। आर्थिक नीति निर्माण, योजना तर्जुमा, लगानी प्रवर्द्धन र रोजगारी विश्लेषणका लागि आधार तयार गर्ने उद्देश्यले सुरु गरिएको यो गणना असार ७ गतेसम्म सञ्चालन हुनेछ। ७७ वटै जिल्लामा ८४ वटा गणना कार्यालयमार्फत उद्योग, व्यापार, सेवा क्षेत्र, सहकारी तथा सार्वजनिक–निजी आर्थिक एकाइहरूको विवरण सङ्कलन गरिनेछ। कूटनीतिक निकाय, सुरक्षा निकाय र घरायसी प्रयोजनका गतिविधि यसमा समावेश गरिने छैन। यसअघि २०७५ सालको गणनामा करिब ९ लाख २३ हजार प्रतिष्ठान र ३२ लाख रोजगारी देखिएको थियो। यस पटक प्रारम्भिक प्रतिवेदन आगामी आर्थिक वर्षको सुरुवातमा प्रकाशन गरिनेछ, साथै व्यवसायीहरूका लागि ‘ई–सेन्सस’ प्रणालीमार्फत अनलाइन विवरण बुझाउने व्यवस्था पनि गरिएको छ।The National Statistics Office has begun nationwide field data collection for the ‘National Economic Census’ starting today. The census aims to support economic policymaking, planning, investment promotion, and employment analysis, and will continue until Asar 7. A total of 84 census offices across all 77 districts will collect data covering industries, trade, services, cooperatives, and both public and private economic units. Diplomatic missions, security agencies, and household-only activities are excluded. In the previous 2018 census, around 923,000 establishments and about 3.2 million jobs were recorded. Preliminary reports are expected at the beginning of the next fiscal year, and an ‘e-census’ system has also been introduced for online data submission by businesses.

काठमाडौँ। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकको तथ्यांकअनुसार आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को फागुन मसान्तसम्म देशको कुल विदेशी मुद्रा सञ्चिति ३४ खर्ब १३ अर्ब ७७ करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ। यसले १८.५ महिनासम्मको आयात धान्न पर्याप्त रहेको राष्ट्र बैंकले जनाएको छ। चालु खाता र शोधनान्तर दुवै मजबुत बनेको देखिएको छ भने विप्रेषण आय, प्रत्यक्ष वैदेशिक लगानी र खुद पुँजीगत ट्रान्सफरमा पनि वृद्धि भएको छ। विश्लेषकहरूले यसलाई देशको आर्थिक स्थिरता र बाह्य क्षेत्र सन्तुलनका लागि सकारात्मक संकेतको रूपमा लिइरहेका छन्।Kathmandu: According to Nepal Rastra Bank, Nepal’s total foreign exchange reserves reached NPR 3.41377 trillion by the end of Falgun FY 2082/83, enough to cover 18.5 months of imports. Both the current and capital accounts showed strong surpluses, while remittance inflows, foreign direct investment, and net capital transfers also increased. Analysts view this as a positive sign for the country’s economic stability and external balance.

श्रम, रोजगार तथा सामाजिक सुरक्षा मन्त्रालय ले वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा जाने कामदारको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण गर्ने संस्थामा रहेको ‘सिन्डिकेट’ अन्त्य गर्ने निर्णय गरेको छ। मन्त्रिस्तरीय निर्णयअनुसार अब नेपाल सरकारबाट स्वीकृति प्राप्त वा सरकारी स्वामित्वमा रहेका नयाँ स्वास्थ्य संस्थालाई सूचीकरण खुला गरिएको छ। यसअघि सीमित संस्थाबाट मात्रै स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण गराउनुपर्ने व्यवस्था थियो र प्रति कामदार ६ हजार ६०० रुपैयाँ शुल्क लिइँदै आएको थियो। नयाँ निर्णयले सेवा सहज र प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक हुने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has decided to end the ‘syndicate’ in health checkups for workers going abroad for foreign employment. Following a ministerial decision, the government has opened the listing process for new health institutions approved by or owned by the Government of Nepal. Previously, workers were required to undergo medical tests only at a limited number of institutions, which charged around NPR 6,600 per person. The new decision is expected to make the service more accessible and competitive.

नेपालका तीन प्रमुख लगानीकर्ता संगठनहरू—नेपाल धितोपत्र लगानीकर्ता संघ, नेपाल शेयर बजार लगानीकर्ता संघ र नेपाल शेयरधनी संघ—ले पूँजीबजार सुधारका लागि सरकारसमक्ष ८ बुँदे माग पेश गरेका छन्। उनीहरूले नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्ड मा भएका अनियमितताको छानबिन, गैरआवासीय नेपालीलाई दोस्रो बजारमा लगानी खुला, कमजोर कम्पनीको प्रिमियम आईपीओ रोक्न, लगानीकर्ताको प्रतिनिधित्व सुनिश्चित गर्न तथा नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेन्ज को पुनर्संरचना प्रतिवेदन कार्यान्वयन गर्न सरकारसँग आग्रह गरेका छन्। लगानीकर्ताहरूले बजारलाई धराशायी हुनबाट जोगाउन तत्काल सुधार आवश्यक भएको बताएका छन्। Three major investor organizations in Nepal—Nepal Securities Investors Association, Nepal Share Market Investors Association and Nepal Shareholders Association—have submitted an 8-point demand to the government seeking urgent reforms in the capital market. They have called for an investigation into irregularities at the Securities Board of Nepal, permission for NRNs to invest in the secondary market, stricter rules for IPOs, investor representation in regulatory bodies, and immediate implementation of the restructuring report of the Nepal Stock Exchange. Investors say urgent action is needed to restore confidence and protect the market.

सरकार १० वर्षदेखि निष्क्रिय बैंक खाताको रकम राज्यकोषमा ल्याउने तयारीमाGovernment Plans to Transfer Funds from Bank Accounts Dormant for 10 Years to State Treasury

सरकारले १० वर्षभन्दा बढी निष्क्रिय रहेका बैंक खातामा रहेको रकम राज्यकोषमा ल्याउने योजना अघि बढाएको छ। हाल यस्ता खातामा करिब १ खर्ब ८८ अर्ब रुपैयाँ रहेको छ। कानुनी प्रक्रिया पूरा गरी र नियम संशोधन गरेपछि मात्र यो योजना कार्यान्वयन हुने देखिन्छ। खातावालाले बैंक वा अनलाइनमार्फत केवाईसी अद्यावधिक गरे खाता पुनः सक्रिय गर्न सकिन्छ।The government has proposed a plan to transfer funds from bank accounts dormant for over 10 years to the state treasury. These accounts currently hold around NPR 188 billion. The plan requires legal amendments to be implemented, and account holders can reactivate their accounts by updating KYC details at banks or online.
