The agreement was signed this morning at Hotel Landmark in Pokhara. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by Mr. Til Bahadur Gurung on behalf of Pokhara Finance and Mr. Sudeep Ghimire on behalf of Samriddhi Finance. As per the agreement, the merger will take place at a 1:1 share swap ratio.

The company is issuing 4 million shares at Rs. 100 face value each in a 1:1 ratio. Only shareholders holding shares till Jestha 4 are eligible. Nabil Investment is the issue manager. The raised Rs. 40 crore will be used to partially repay loans from Machhapuchhre, Nabil, and Global IME banks.

कामना सेवा विकास बैंकले आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/८२ को अपरिष्कृत वित्तीय विवरण प्रकाशित गर्ने पहिलो विकास बैंक बनेको छ। बैंकले ६३ करोड ५२ लाख रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा कमाएको छ, जुन अघिल्लो वर्षको तुलनामा ९.१९ प्रतिशतले वृद्धि भएको हो। बैंकको खुद ब्याज आम्दानी ५.२५% र फि आम्दानी १५.०४% ले बढेको छ। वितरणयोग्य मुनाफा ६० करोड ७४ लाख पुगेको छ भने प्रतिशेयर आम्दानी १८ रुपैयाँ १० पैसा रहेको छ। बैंकको प्रतिशेयर नेटवर्थ १६८ रुपैयाँ १३ पैसा र मूल्य आम्दानी अनुपात २७.६९ गुणा रहेको छ। बैंकले कुल ६२ अर्ब ८३ करोड निक्षेप संकलन गरी ४९ अर्ब ९६ करोड कर्जा प्रवाह गरेको छ।Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has become the first development bank to publish its unaudited financial statement for FY 2081/82. The bank posted a net profit of NPR 635.2 million, marking a 9.19% increase from the previous year. Net interest income rose by 5.25%, while fee income jumped 15.04%. The bank’s distributable profit stood at NPR 607.4 million with an EPS of NPR 18.10. Its net worth per share reached NPR 168.13, and the P/E ratio was 27.69. As of fiscal year-end, the bank had collected deposits of NPR 62.83 billion and disbursed loans totaling NPR 49.97 billion.

The total turnover also hit an impressive NPR 16.59 billion — the highest in nearly 11 months.
नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्ड (सेवोन) ले ब्रोकर कम्पनीलाई तोकिएको न्यूनतम चुक्तापूँजी पुर्याउन ९ महिना समय थप गर्दै २०८२ चैत मसान्तसम्मको म्याद दिएको छ। २०७९ मा जारी नियमावलीअनुसार ब्रोकर कम्पनीको वर्गअनुसार २० करोडदेखि १ अर्ब ५० करोड रुपैयाँसम्म पूँजी पुर्याउनु पर्ने व्यवस्था थियो। ३८ पुराना ब्रोकरमध्ये २२ ले पूँजी नपुर्याएको पाइएपछि सेबोनले कारवाही नगरी समय थप गरेको हो। नयाँ म्याद असार ३२ गतेबाट लागू भएको हो। साथै, अब स्टक डिलर कम्पनीलाई आईपीओ निष्काशन गर्न बाटो खुलेको छ।The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has extended the deadline for broker companies to meet the minimum paid-up capital requirement by nine months, setting the new deadline at the end of Chaitra 2082. As per the regulations issued in 2079, broker companies were required to meet capital thresholds ranging from NPR 200 million to NPR 1.5 billion based on their category.
राधी विद्युत कम्पनी लिमिटेडले हकप्रद सेयर निष्कासन प्रक्रिया अघि बढाउन मुक्तिनाथ क्यापिटल लिमिटेडलाई बिक्री प्रबन्धकमा नियुक्त गरेको छ। कम्पनीले हालको चुक्ता पुँजीको ६९.८९ प्रतिशत बराबरको हकप्रद सेयर (१:०.६९८९ अनुपातमा) जारी गर्ने योजना बनाएको छ। यस अन्तर्गत १ करोड २८ लाख ५२ हजार कित्ता सेयर सर्वसाधारणलाई प्रदान गरिनेछ।Radhi Hydropower Company Limited has appointed Muktinath Capital Limited as the issue manager for its upcoming rights share offering. The company plans to issue 69.89% rights shares in a 1:0.6989 ratio, totaling 12.85 million shares to existing shareholders.

The company will close its book on July 18 (Shrawan 2) for its 29th Annual General Meeting scheduled on August 8 (Shrawan 23) in Kathmandu. Shareholders recorded by today will be eligible for the proposed 18% bonus shares and 0.9474% cash dividend for tax purposes. The AGM will also decide on issuing 47% right shares, amending the charter, and appointing an auditor.

Sensitive, Float, and Sensitive Float indices also rose. Total turnover crossed NPR 14 billion, marking the highest trading volume since mid-March. KBL Debenture 2090 and Three Star Hydropower gained 10%, while Mai Khola Hydropower dropped by 7.87%. Butwal Power Company recorded the highest turnover of the day.

Currently, 34 hydropower companies have submitted applications to the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) seeking approval to issue Initial Public Offerings (IPOs). Among the frontrunners preparing to issue shares to the general public soon are Bhujung, Ambaling, Solu, Taksar Pikhuwakhola, Ridge Line, Kalinchowk, and Him River Power.

साउन महिनाका लागि अधिकांश वाणिज्य बैंकहरूले ब्याजदर घटाएका छन्। २० बैंकमध्ये १४ वटाले व्यक्तिगत मुद्दती निक्षेपको ब्याजदर घटाएका छन् भने केहीले संस्थागत निक्षेपको दर पनि घटाएका छन्। ग्लोबल आईएमई, सिद्धार्थ र एनएमबी जस्ता बैंकले दर यथावत राखेका छन् भने हिमालयन बैंक र स्ट्याण्डर्ड चार्टर्डले केही मात्रामा दर बढाएका छन्। अहिले व्यक्तिगत मुद्दती निक्षेपमा पाइने ब्याजदर मुख्यतः ४.२५% देखि ६.२५% सम्म रहेको छ। यो घटावट बैंकिङ क्षेत्रमा तरलता सहज रहेको संकेत हो।Most commercial banks in Nepal have lowered their interest rates on fixed deposits for the month of Shrawan. Out of 20 banks, 14 have cut personal deposit rates, and several have also reduced institutional deposit rates. A few banks, including Global IME, Siddhartha, and NMB, kept rates unchanged, while Himalayan Bank and Standard Chartered slightly increased personal deposit rates. The revised personal deposit rates now mostly range between 4.25% and 6.25%. The overall trend indicates improved liquidity in the banking sector.
नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्डले झापा इनर्जी लिमिटेडलाई प्राथमिक सेयर (आईपीओ) निष्कासनको अनुमति प्रदान गरेको छ। असार ३१ गते बोर्डबाट स्वीकृति पाएसँगै कम्पनीले कुल ९ करोड ५० लाख ४७ हजार ५ सय रुपैयाँ बराबरको ९ लाख ५० हजार ४७५ कित्ता सेयर सर्वसाधारणका लागि ल्याउने तयारी गरेको हो।Jhapa Energy Limited has received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to issue its Initial Public Offering (IPO). The approval, granted on Ashar 31, allows the company to issue a total of 950,475 shares worth Rs. 95,047,500 to the public.
शाइन रेसुङ्गा बैंकको ८% ब्याजदरमा ऋणपत्र निष्काशन सुरु शाइन रेसुङ्गा डेभलपमेण्ट बैंक लिमिटेडले आज असार ३२ गतेदेखि १० वर्ष अवधिको ‘शाइन रेसुङ्गा डिबेञ्चर’ नामक ऋणपत्र निष्काशन तथा बिक्री खुला गरेको छ। वार्षिक ८ प्रतिशत ब्याजदरमा जारी हुने यो ऋणपत्र प्रतिकित्ता एक हजार रुपैयाँ अंकित मूल्यमा कुल १ अर्ब रुपैयाँ बराबरको १० लाख कित्ता हुनेछ।Shine Resunga Bank Opens Debenture Issue at 8% Interest Shine Resunga Development Bank Limited has opened the issuance and sale of its 10-year debenture, named ‘Shine Resunga Debenture’, starting today (Asar 32). The debenture offers an annual interest rate of 8% and will be issued at a par value of NPR 1,000 per unit, totaling NPR 1 billion across 1 million units.
हिमालयन बैंक लिमिटेडले आज (असार ३२ गते) बाट थप सार्वजनिक निष्काशन (एफपीओ) जारी गर्ने भएको छ। बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्था सम्बन्धी ऐन, २०७३ अनुसार सर्वसाधारणको हिस्सा ३०% पुर्याउने उद्देश्यले बैंकले एफपीओ ल्याउने भएको हो। हाल २७.०१% सर्वसाधारण सेयर रहेको बैंकले अब १ अर्ब ४५ करोड २३ लाख रुपैयाँ बराबरको ९२ लाख ५० हजार कित्ता सेयर प्रतिकित्ता १५७ रुपैयाँमा निष्काशन गर्ने भएको छ। यसपछि बैंकको चुक्ता पूँजी २२ अर्ब ५८ करोड रुपैयाँ पुग्नेछ।Himalayan Bank Limited is set to issue a Further Public Offering (FPO) starting today (Shrawan 1). As per the Banks and Financial Institutions Act, 2073, the bank is required to maintain at least 30% public ownership. Currently, the public holds 27.01% of the shares. To meet the requirement, the bank will issue 92,50,469 units of shares at a price of NPR 157 per share (including NPR 57 premium), amounting to NPR 1.45 billion. Following the FPO, the bank’s paid-up capital will increase to NPR 22.58 billion.
सरकारले चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/८२ को अन्त्यमा आएर फेरि पनि असारे विकासको शैली दोहोर्याएको छ। महालेखा नियन्त्रकको कार्यालयका अनुसार २९ असारसम्म पूँजीगत खर्च २ खर्ब ११ अर्ब ३५ करोड रुपैयाँ नाघेको छ, जुन ३१ जेठसम्मको १ खर्ब ४३ अर्बको तुलनामा ६७ अर्बले बढी हो। मात्र असार महिनामै ६७ अर्ब ९६ करोड रुपैयाँ खर्च गरिएको देखिन्छ। यद्यपि, पूँजीगत खर्चको कुल लक्ष्य ३ खर्ब ५२ अर्बमध्ये अहिले सम्म ५९.९८ प्रतिशत मात्र खर्च भएको छ, जसले सरकारको विकास खर्च सम्बन्धी प्रतिबद्धता पुनः असफल भएको देखाउँछ।The government has once again followed the trend of "Asare Bikash" (end-of-year spending rush), with a massive spike in capital expenditure in the final month of the fiscal year 2081/82. According to the Office of the Financial Comptroller General, capital spending reached NPR 211.35 billion by the 29th of Asar, up from NPR 143.38 billion at the end of Jestha—an increase of NPR 67.96 billion in just one month. Despite this surge, only 59.98% of the total allocated capital budget of NPR 352.35 billion has been spent, indicating failure in achieving the annual target.
